Default Manifestation Scheduling - The Holy Grail of Manifesting?

I've been into visualization/manifestation (sorry, I can't stand the term Law of Attraction...too commercial for me) since I was a teenager back in the 70's (I'm 52 at this moment) and have been fairly successful at attaining some pretty incredible (and not so incredible) things in my life. In fact, I've been successful enough times that I can honestly say this is for real.

There is one thing that I would like some feedback on, though, and that is the aspect of having the universe scheduling the results.

A standard point made by everyone is that the universe chooses the 'perfect time' for results to manifest. I can see the reasons for this, since the universe is the ultimate eternal intelligence and is, to put it mildly, the ultimate talent in coordinating events. Take for instance this scenario:

After many years of struggling, you finaly manage to save enough money to buy your dream car. All is right with the world but, for whatever reason, you start to get paranoid about having someone or something do something to that car. And, after a while of dwelling on that, something does happen: someone backs into it at the grocery store parking lot.

The universe has heard your request and delivered it. May not have been a happy request but it was a request and it was answered.

But, why was that particular time chosen by the universe to have that request answered?

Probably because that one request (the paranoia about something happening to the car) wasn't the only one being played out at that moment. A case can be made that that situation was fulfilling many different spiritual requests at one time: yours, the one by the driver of the car doing the hitting, the one by the owner of the garage who will ultimately profit from the fix, and all the other players who will be affected in one way or another. The universe, in this case, chose that particular time and place because it was the best and most efficient way to fulfill multiple requests.

Okay, I get that. But...

Imagine if we could control the timing of our manifestations. Wouldn't that be the ultimate test of our success? Wouldn't that be the Holy Grail of manifesting?

I never liked the whole excuse (for lack of a better term) that the IM community throws out as a reason for lack of results. As in, "well, you seem to be doing everything right but the desire hasn't manifested because it isn't the right time." or "In the perfect time, in the perfect way..."

That all sounds beautiful on paper but what about things and events that need to manifest at a particular time? The illness that needs curing, now. The money that needs to come before the landlord changes the locks on your door. Even the not-so-critical events, such as: "I would like to win the lottery this particular Wednesday because it is the biggest payout in history."

Controlling the scheduling of manifestations would serve as the ultimate proof of the existence of IM. Immediate, forecast-able results would demonstrate the concept definitively to everyone, including the one doing the manifesting.

Having said all this, I truly believe that it is possible to control the timing of all your manifestations, not just some of them. The problem is that putting a scheduled time on a manifestation also adds a certain level of pressure to perform. That, in itself, will hurt the manifestation's chance of coming to pass.

Some may say that scheduling the delivery of your own manifestations might not be the most responsible thing, since there aren't many of us who are insightful enough to see the full extent of our actions, the way the universe can. But even if that were true, wouldn't the universe be capable of providing for safeguards even for that?

How about the ability of some individuals being able to do certain incredible things, such as levitating at will? Isn't that a form of manifesting on a schedule...as in levitating now...not sometime in the future, such as in the car ride home.

I believe many people routinely do it. I can't provide any examples, but maybe you can?

What are your thoughts?
