Default Income for dummies

I read Steve's blog "10 Reasons You Should Never Get A Job" and thought that's what I have been feeling for years now but just couldn't articulate it so well. I hate the fact I have to trade my time for money. I would rather have more time to focus on my personal development & growth while still generating a sustainable income. I hate working a 9 to 5...I get angry & want to cry every time I look at my paycheck because just like he blogged it's just too many mouths to feed. Uncle Sam is rippin' me a new you know what. Something that I didn't realize is that employee income is the most heavily taxed there is.

So I decided to use intention-manifestation to get me out of ever being an employee again & working a 9 to 5 job. I am very new at this but I want to track & share my progress.

Are there any suggestions as to how I should go about this....Are there any other methods I can use instead of intention-manifestation?

I know he talked about getting paid for value and not your time. But what do you do when you feel like you have no value to offer??

Trust the universe. What might be right for me could be very wrong for you.

I have a soul sucking job. Sersously i wanted to cry everyday this week. I know I undo my I/M by stepping foot in that place.

I believe it will all be over soon. I have faith.

I suggest the first thing you do is raise your self-worth. You wouldn't have high income, employed or otherwise, if you regard yourself as a dummy with no value to offer.

Be grateful for your current job and that paycheck. Offer the best value you can at that job as long as you're at it, including your best attitude. When you're truly too good for that job, you'll either get a raise to match your value, or another company will offer it, or you will get out on your own.

Meanwhile, think of what you've done for others that they appreciate and are grateful for, and that you enjoyed doing. Take inventory of your talents, skills, abilities, and positive attributes, especially if they are unique or not so common.

Don't think in terms of a job. Think of and design the life you like to live, including what kind of work you would love to do, which wouldn't even feel like work. If doing that makes you happy and some other people happy, it can be monetized or somehow rewarded.

When you get yourself into a good place of joy, high self-worth, and faith, inspirations and opportunities will come to you.

I want to thank you Zenn for you post. When I first read it I was like "whatever"...I could never be grateful for my current job or anything else in my life. So I didn't give it any thought. But now I see how right you were and I am just starting to appreciate all that I do have in my life. Yes, I have abundance right now...I have a job (that is steady income), I have a home to live in, clothes on my back, food to eat and so on and so on. I was even thinking "Wow I am even grateful for my eyesight" because if I couldn't see I couldn't work because I drive a bus for a living. I am grateful for my health & strength.
Now I realize I shouldn't have called this post income for dummies. My job is just my bouncing off place I believe I will find what I love to do and it will be of monetary value to me. I admit I have had the nastiest attitude as of late on my job because of my stinking thinking. Now I know I have to offer my best attitude because my attitude will determine my altitude. I believe the universe knows exactly what I am asking for & is guiding me through to get it to manifest in my life and the first step was what you said to be grateful for what I already have. Thank you so very much.

I was so eager to get out of my 9 to 5 that my very attitude or thinking about my situation would've kept me right in that same situation. I realized I had to be appreciative for what I already have.

I just received "Getting into the Vortex Guided Meditations CD" by Esther & Jerry Hicks The Teachings of Abraham & I just love it. Some may think it is a bit premature for me to say that being as though this morning was only my first 15 minute meditation but I know that it helped me feel a lot better all through the day because I know I was bombarded yesterday with a whole lot of negative thoughts that had me feeling down in the dumps.

It is suggested that you read the user guide before beginning and meditate only 15 minutes a day. I felt so good that when I came home from work I wanted to move on to the next section which was Financial Abundance but I said nahhh I will follow the instructions I am just anticipating my 15 minute meditation tomorrow morning. I found the breathing technique a little difficult but I know through time I will perfect it. All I know is that when I was breathing like I was suppose to it did feel really good & relaxing. The goal is to breath six breaths per minute. Which can be difficult for anybody at first but through time it can be done. But the most important part is to focus on your breathing not the words being spoken because after a while the words are suppose to resonant within you as you vibrationally align with your vortex.

Reading the user guide helped me to realize something that I found interesting especially as I was reading some of the threads here. It says: And in the very moment that your intention shifts to a determination to "feel good" rather than a determination of "manifest something," not only will you become a consistently happy person, but all things wanted will flow easily to you.

Abraham is teaching us that we can manifest all our wants and desires through an improved emotional state, even though tangible evidence is not yet discernible because it's the Law! Law of Attraction that is...

So I am on an emotional path right now...I have to change my stinking thinking...I am not so much worried about manifesting what I want right now because I know I have to change how I FEEL about certain things or areas in my life & once I feel good about what I want with no resisting thoughts then I am a vibrational match for it & the manifestation will come...
But I realized dangggg I have a lot of resisting thoughts to all my desires a lot of meditation is needed
