I've been messing around with Manifesting for a couple days, and I've been getting little "proofs" of it working, however nothing big. It seems if you want something faster you actually need to feel more positive emotionally.So.. that's my problem I can only generate a little feel good energy..I mean, how can I make more?

Find things to appreciate. Go for a walk. Play with your pets. Enjoy a beautiful sunset. Watch the stars. Spend time remembering great experiences you have had.

A couple of points. First, I highly recommend listening to audio books by Mike Dooley (e.g., Infinite Possibilities: The Art of Living your Dreams (Unabridged) and Manifesting Change It Couldn't Be Easier (Unabridged)). While reading his books will do just fine, listening to his books (read by the author, himself) is much more enjoyable because he channels so much enthusiasm in his reading that it is contagious, leaving the listener feeling great joy and optimism. Second, as you will gather from listening to the books just mentioned, the way to generate more feeling and emotion for your manifestations is to focus on how you will feel once your manifestation manifests. For a grand example, I am visualizing an outcome whereby I am a prosperous composer-lyricist, screenwriter, producer, and teacher. I visualize myself composing music on a beautiful grand piano in a beautiful office with glass walls overlooking the sea. I visualize many other aspects of the scenario, including the luxury car I drive or am driven in, the island I own on which I teach and facilitate classes for new artists, the wonderful life of boating and recreating that goes on at my island, etc. etc. etc. Here, it is not difficult to generate great joy and emotion during my visualization because putting myself there, in my mind's eye, makes me feel as if I am already there. This generates great emotion. For a mundane example, I visualize that my three months of backlogged billable-hours reporting is completed already. Before doing this visualization, I used to think: "Wow--I am in so much trouble--I am so late on my billable hours report, someone will surely kick my ass." Thinking about doing three months of back-work, when I am so overwhelmed with current-work just stressed me out to no end. This completely paralyzed me into not doing my backlogged billable-hours report. Then a lightbulb went on: "Duh! I believe in the LoA--I am just manifesting a greater reality of fear and paralysis, and someone will kick my ass, if I keep on with such beliefs!" So yesterday, I figured out how not to get stressed out at the thought of such back-work: I focused on how I would feel after the backlogged work was done. My visualization: I am sitting at my desk at the end of the day, and all my time entries are entered and I am up to date. I feel tremendous relief and joy. I feel myself telling anyone who might think of asking me whether my time entries are done: "What, Biotch!? It's done, Biotch! You aint got nothing on me! Yeah, boy! You can't touch this!" The visualization put me in touch with what I wanted to feel: F-R-E-E from condemnation. Silly, I know, but the feeling generated by my visualization for such a mundane matter was one of triumph, defiance, and freedom. And, therefore, by imagining how I would feel (e.g., living on my island or by saying "What, Biotch?! My time is in, Biotch! Back off, Biotch!") was wonderful. This helped generate great enthusiasm. So yesterday, notwithstanding an amazingly busy day on other pressing matters, I was able to whittle down my backlogged time by 1/3. That may not seem like a lot, but it was! I will finish the remaining 2/3 this weekend. The key is that it is not stressful at all, but joyful. That is a side-benefit of the LoA--stressless accomplishment. I could not have imagined such an effortless result without the LoA, which works for grand and mundane things. So the key for generating more emotion is to focus your attention more on how you will feel when your manifestation appears in this reality. Surely, you can feel childlike joy, not only at your creation (e.g., feeling your hands wrap around the steering wheel of that beautiful Bentley car as you drive it on your island!), but at the very thought that infinite possiblities are always available to you--on demand--by the LoA! Another idea that I have yet to experiment with is using an image book or image board. Mike Dooley talks about this. He got a scrap book and pasted images of things he wanted: expensive cars, jewelry, round-the-world trips, beautiful homes, etc. That way, when he looked at his scrap book daily, he got very very excited and before long, he was manifesting these very things. Hope this posting generates excitement for you! Last edited by Balbrae; 10-08-2011 at 01:36 PM.
