Keeping Secrets

Quietude generates power. Balancing the need to share and the benefits of keeping things on the down-low is an intriguing task. Sharing ideas often leads to defending them, which can undermine one's enthusiasm about them. We know from teachings on manifesting preferred realities and the LoA that positive emotions are important accelerants in the progression and development of manifested change. Hence, maintaining enthusiasm about ideas can be beneficial. Right now I'm digging an author and motivational speaker but choose to keep the details private for now. I want to bask in the inspiration provided before potentially having to debate the pros and cons of the material or author. Has anyone else experienced this quietude v. sharing issue before regarding spiritual teachings? Know what I mean?

Hello!

I've actually never heard the "Quietude generates power."
But I've chosen to keep quiet as opposed to talking about what i wish to manifest anyways.
I'm 20 years old, and my group of friends aren't spiritual at all, nor are they highly ambitous. So whenever I talk about positive thinking, self-belief and anything i want to achieve, i generally get remarks saying "As if that even works" or "That'll never happen," and i find myself having to defend my beliefs.

So now i just chose to keep all this stuff to myself, and leave everyone wondering how I am so happy all the time and how I manage to attract so many great things. And on some level, its actually quite fun that way.
