That's why I say that inspirational living is a moment-by-moment renewal. You can't plan what you will do tomorrow, because inspiration only works in the now. Quote:

An amazing thing has been happening recently. I got two Ceeport seals just the other day. I decided to stick one on my wallet for prosperity, and inspiration dictated to put one on my computer, for the success of Christ's Light Ministries. It's only been about two or three days, but already since then, I got another healing request, another question posted to the site, and I posted a short article myself. Even before receiving it though, I had been cleaning on it, and Christine wrote an article and I did a recorded message that I'm hoping to do weekly. I'm excited to see how things progress from here. |

I got another healing request last week, so that was great. Something makes me laugh as I observe my reality vs. Christine's reality. She gets frustrated rather easily. We're cleaning up and packing for traveling to my mother's house tomorrow, for Thanksgiving. There have been minor frustrations throughout the evening. Anyway, we have a laundry card. She was just about to leave to transfer the clothes from the washer to the drier, when she realized she had lost the card. It is one of those machines where you have to insert the card in order to start it, so that it can charge the $1. She immediately started getting frustrated, and started looking around the floor. It was in her pocket, but it had to have fallen out somewhere in the house, probably in the living room. I got the sense it was near the door, so I got up and started looking. Within about a minute or two, I found it about three feet from the door, near the leg of the chair. Of course I had to laugh at her for getting so frustrated when it could be found so easily. Keep in mind that we are both blind, though she has a little vision, so looking for things can be very trying indeed. The difference is that I know that everything will work out. So in most cases, even when things seem frustrating and hopeless, I know that it really isn't so. I try to stay calm, and usually the solution will arise. In this case, it was the intuitive sense of the location of the card. I didn't even have to think about it; I just knew it was by the door. This is how inspiration works in hoʻoponopono. When we get frustrated, we block the way for inspiration to arise, because those negative emotions block the channel of inspiration. It requires a clear channel in order to arise. Just something a bit humorous I wanted to share. |

Been a while, so I apologize for that. Things have been in disarray in some ways, so I've had to clean on that. There's been a problem with my health insurance, which I need since I take four different medications, so now we're trying to resolve that, and have been for the past two weeks or so. Something interesting happened yesterday. I got a letter in the mail saying that my federal loan had given me too much, so most of it was being taken away this semester and would not apply next semester. I was a little worried about that, so I looked online at my student account. It ended up that I actually have a credit somehow. But what was funnier was the amount of that credit, which told me for sure that everything would be OK: the credit was for $1,111.00. I think that part of manifestation is to just take action on your goal and trust that the universe will catch up with you. Christine's been really needing a computer, and has been really wanting a Mac since it is the most accessible for blind people. So I decided to surprise her and am getting her a MacBook Pro. I found a good refurbished one that is a few hundred cheaper than a new one is. Mine is refurbished and has been perfectly fine, so I know it will still work for her. It will put us a little tight for next month, but she really needs it and I trust that things will work out. |

I have not read Zero Limits (I have to admit, I have a block when it comes to Joe Vitale), but I am very curious about this cleaning process. Piano Performer, is there a way to sum it up in a post? How does one clean? Thank you very much. |

Yes, it is very simple. There are four phrases:
You say these phrases silently. You don't even have to say all of them; "I love you" is enough. These phrases will clean your subconscious mind of the limiting beliefs, the programs, the negativity that has built up in it. As the subconscious is cleaned, the outer world will be cleaned as well, and your experience will improve. And that's really all there is to it. I'm not sure why so many people have a blockage when it comes to Joe Vitale. I find him very authentic.

Very simple. You just say "I'm sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you" whenever you remember about whatever comes up! That is all you have to do. Don't worry about the outcome. You don't even have to say that much, but it's probably a good start! If you feel inspired to do something else, do it! For example, I find actual physical cleaning is a good way of cleaning! Here's a post I made on page 2 of this thread on the basics: Zero Limits Last edited by CoolBee; 12-04-2011 at 06:45 PM. |

Nope! You don't have to feel any emotions, you don't have to believe in it, you don't have to say it a certain amount of times, and most definitely you don't have any intentions and nor should you waste intellectual effort in trying to figure out what exactly within you gave rise to whatever it is! Just do it when you think of it! |

Since I don't have to focus on anything, does it mean that I could silently repeat these phrases while doing something else? I'm sorry if my questions sound stupid. Other techniques I have read about usually require some sort of focus, visualization, memory recall, etc. This concept is completely new to me. One thing I'm curious about is that if it is so simple... why would you go to a weekend workshop? Why would you buy DVD's? What can they possibly tell you that you guys didn't sum up in just a few sentences? Thank you for your help. |

As well, I think it's about the energy. Sometimes you just don't think of the possibilities, or you just aren't completely inspired by it, until you listen to others talking about it in the way that they do. It really helped me to have a lot of clarifications and realizations, which was worthwhile just for that.

I found Mabel's workshop inspiring because there are things to work through when you start taking this approach to life especially the interpretation of 'responsibility'. Distinguishing the voice of the intellect from the voice of inspiration. For me (living in an Arab country - though the seminar was in the UK), it was particularly special because in the same room, all attending the same seminar, were Christians, Muslims (in fact it was a Muslim who was key in organizing it in the UK!), Buddhists, atheists.... and people were relating parts of their own scriptural teachings which were giving the same messages. There are other tools you can use other than the simple statement - and some may work better for you in some cases than others. No, you don't need any of it, but it can deepen and broaden and support your understanding of what you are letting yourself in for (as I said, imagine you discover ho'oponopono - everything is patterns made up in my own head and then my local world goes off into revolutions everywhere! That's a heck of a lot of 'cleaning' to do! PS - and just because it's easy to say - doesn't mean it's easy to do! Listening to someone who has had to work through some of this, learn not to intellectualize and so on, helps a lot! Lately, I've been encountering a lot of 'misogynistic clap trap' dressed up as religion and being perpetrated by the victims themselves! (Anyhow, that's how I see it! Not asking to get into a debate here!) - am finding it very difficult to 'clean' and not go off on a 'rant and rave' marathon. I had to put out a call on my FB to another member here who shares the ho'oponopono outlook to do a bit of cleaning on my inability to clean it if that makes sense! Thank you for being so helpful, guys... Today, I repeated the phrases a few times throughout the day at work.. whenever I remembered. I didn't connect them to any particular event or a person though. I just silently repeated them for a few minutes at a time. Do you usually start with something specific you want to clean? Or is it ok to just repeat the phrases with nothing particular in mind? |

Absolutely ok to do that Tom. Your conscious mind has NO idea what needs cleaning! If a situation arises, it's just bringing to your conscious mind that something still needs cleaning! For me, the greatest change has been if 'anyone makes me angry' (or, more correctly, a situation arises where I would previously have chosen to feel angry) with thoughtless or bad behaviour, now, before responding, about 90% of the time, instead of responding in an angry way, I stop and think "I am responsible for this somehow even if I cannot conceive of why or how! Clean!" |

So Christine just got her Mac today. Now I am still doing cleaning on prosperity. The Mac purchase set us back a bit this month, but her father is planning on helping with the cost, so that should help. I do think that there's a lot to clean in the way of prosperity, so it has been a major focus for me. I have noticed that when I read Joe Vitale's work, I feel better about prosperity, as though nothing is impossible, because his vibration is very closely aligned with abundance, obviously so. To help with that, I got an app that he has in the app store on the iPhone, which has 365 inspiring quotes. I find that reading one of those provides some positive energy to give a boost. We'll see what the effect of that is. I identify with him for some reason that I can't figure out. But I like that he goes after what he wants to do, just as I like to do, so he is somewhat of a model for me. |
