Forgive me if this has already been asked.... I find that anytime I get even remotely excited about something or more so look forward to it, it pushes it away, locks it in a closet and throws away the key. It's generally something I'm not even consciously aware of that I'm doing until it goes away. Like someone will offer to watch my child for the day and I make all these mental plans of what I'll do with the time to myself. Once I start looking forward to it, boom, gone. Something will happen. Again, I'm not even thinking about manifesting or not manifesting at all. But if I'm nervous about something happening, it's like instant attraction. Like the day you want to be alone, everyone shows up. The day you're lonely, no one is around. Now if I could harness reversing that, that would be awesome, but no luck yet. |

Yes thanks. I explain it to my friend it's like a kid excited to see an animal, if the kid is overly excited about the animal, the animal takes off in the other direction! lol How do I go about fixing this.... I've tried just not doing it, but no luck yet. |

Hi Bonadea, I was having a similar problem... It was a bit like a bad case of manifestation constipation I do it every night. It's just a 30 minute track that sounds like waves. |

I want to recommend that you start thinking about what you do want and not on what you don't (if you aren't already). Quote:
Furthermore, I just want to briefly elaborate on a critical element: excitement vs. enthusiasm. Excitement means that you're heavily dependent on outer circumstances dictating how you feel. Whatever happens on the outside, you can get excited by it real easily or depressed by it real easily. Enthusiasm, on the other hand, comes from within. This is where -- with your thoughts -- you control your emotions, your circumstances, and what you attract. Bottom line: be enthused; not excited. | |

Thanks so much. I actually started trying that the other night. I just pretended I had 100,000 in the bank to spend on whatever I want. Went on-line and shopped for the things I need as if that was the case, rather than that I need this item, what's the best deal, etc like I would normally do. |

This is a great thread. I can see how important resolving this issue is. At one point in my life "excitement" and "hope" and "expectation of failure" all became merged and sautered together. Working the I/M process and that merger are mutally exclusive - thank goodness. gratitude in and of itself destroys the confluence of those fibers. |
