conflicting message with numbers 2:22 and 55 - I need advice please

Hey everyone,

Ok, I know when I see a repeated number that my angels are trying to get my attention regarding guidance. I repeatedly see 2:22 every single day on clocks. I also see 55 practically every hour I am on the computer in clock signs like 1:55, 2:55, etc.

What I need help with is - I have all of doreen virtues numbers books so I know the meaning behind these numbers. But here is where the confusion lies - doreen seems to have 2 different meanings of these numbers.

The 2:22 in one of her books Healing with the angels says: Our newly planted ideas are beginning to grow into reality. Keep watering and nurturing them and soon they will push thru the soil so you can see evidence of your manifestion. In otherwards don't quit 5 min before the miracle. Your manifestation is soon going to be evident to you, so keep up the good work! Keep holding positive thoughts, keep affirming and continue visualizing.

Now in her other book Angel Numbers 101 the 222 meaning seems to be different and it says: Trust that everything is working out exactly as it is supposed to with divine blessings for everyone involved. Let go and have faith.

So which is it? Keep visualizing and doing affirm or let go and have faith?

With the number 55 it is the same conflict (well this is for the meaning of 555 - but all 5's have the same meaning and in numerology 5 means change, freedom and transformation) and I see 5:55 on clocks - not everyday - I see 55 WAY more often than I see 5:55. Of course, I am definetly going to see 55 on clocks every hour vs 5:55 anyway.

The meaning is: Buckle your seatbelts because a major life change is upon you . This change should not be viewed as being negative or positive - since all change is but a natural part of life. Perhaps this change is an answer to your prayers, so continue seeing and feeling yourself being at peace.

In her numbers book it says for 55: This is a period of out with the old and in with the new. Welcome these changes as they bring about new blessings.

Now again, I see a little conflict because in one of my angel readings I did for myself last night one of the cards said something about creating a vacuum to manifest new good. I understand this because nature does abhor a vacuum. You do need to let go of the old before the new can come in. But again, does this number mean I need to create a vacuum or that change is on the way or both?


Ok, I would like some of this conflict cleared up because maybe it is just me but it seems like there is 2 different answers for both of these numbers and I don't want to be taking either the wrong action or taking unnecessary action

What I would like to know from all of you is this: If you have seen both of these numbers all the time like me or even just one of them constantly. What did you do? What interpretation did you focus more on? I am just throwing this out to the forum to see what your experiences are so that maybe I can get more insight into what the angels are trying.

I swear God really should have created a better way to receive really clear guidance from him and the angels. I mean he throws us down here on this planet and it is really hard sometimes to really understand what God or the angels are trying to say. I get sooooo tired of playing this guessing game with them.

In my experience nobody's interpretation of numbers means more than your own. For instance, I see the numbers 1, 4, and 6 all the time. There is certainly a "universal" meaning to them but I know for a fact that the reason they have appeared to me is because of the meaning or allusion that I had given to them.

I would ask you this: which of these meanings for 2 and 5 resonates more with you?

Well, I see what you are saying but God and the angels do communicate thru signs and numbers to me all the time. I usually always get it but this time I seem to be in conflict - I'll bet it is that ego vs intuition again. Part of me wants to let go and not visualize anymore and part of me (the should part and this is always the ego talking) thinks I should keep doing it. So I need to sort this out and these number sign meanings are not helping me - esp the 2:22

Intuition is great and I use it all the time but at least for me, God and the angels also send confirmation thru numbers and signs to help clear things up. So I will just see what everyone is saying and I am just going to have to keep mulling this over and try to get the angels and God to send me more clarity.

The number sightings are really an intuitive thing, I can understand when you get frustrated with what they exactly mean. It's almost as if the angels are training you to sense what the message is or intuit what it is, even though at times it will be hard to know exactly what they mean. Developing our intuition is so important that the angels always push us slightly in that direction and obviously the best way to train you is to keep sending you intuitive messages, since sooner or later you'll catch on.

The 55 speaks of change, or even the 5:55, so obviously that's what they want from you when you see these numbers. Also, you're somewhat new at working with them and I think in Doreen's books she mentions that the angels as you begin to invoke them and so forth will ask you to make changes in your life. So seeing the 55 would be a great way to nudge you to do that. Consider that if you were just thinking about your diet, and see a 55, it means they angels are nudging you to change it slightly. If you see the 55 while thinking about the clothes you wear, perhaps the angels are giving you signals to change your ideas about clothes. If you see the 55 while cleaning out a closet someday, maybe they want you to throw out even more stuff and clean your closets, more frequently. I'm sure you see how this all plays out, you just have to try to intuit what they wish you to change.

Try again to remember what you were thinking just BEFORE you saw the 55 It's as if the angels barge right into the middle of our thought-stream and give us a little number sighting just to tip us off on a particular topic we just thought of. This is very tricky since, it's hard to always know exact what we just thought... even if it's our own thoughts...lol.

Seeing these number sightings and trying to interpert them will also make you more aware, even if now, as you are semi-aware it can be sometimes confusing. The angels are always looking to bring you up to the next level.

The same goes for the 222, perhaps you were just thinking about winning some money and then a 222 sighting pops-up and it has to do with the thoughts that just crossed your mind, so the number sighting will tell you to keep on staying positive about your money situation or the money situation you are visualizing because yes it is working.... BUT you have to keep on a while longer (don't give up 5 min. before the miracle).

I hope this helps, I know I have to stretch my intuition to the limit when I go with number sightings and it can be a pain in the butt.... but I do feel I'm become much more intuitive and aware because of it.

Well, ironically it is 12:22 right now and that is another clock sign that comes up repeatedly and the 2:22 is in it - so with your theory of thinking about something right before seeing the number - it was this post. So I think the angels are trying to tell me to pay attention to what you are saying in your post! lol! Which makes sense.

I think for me the numbers are a dual meaning and I think my angels are trying to kill two birds with one stone. The 55 I think means I need to just continue getting rid of old stuff, old beliefs and anything that does not reflect the rich, new life I want to live. It also means changes is on the way.

The 2:22 (and even 12:22) means that I need to keep thinking positive and visualizing and focusing on what I want but to also let go and have faith that either that or something even better is on its way. So I think I have my answer and it all makes a lot more sense now. I am still glad I started this thread because it allowed me to think this thing thru.

Oh btw: I was getting a little frustrated last night because I have been doing a lot of clearing work and srt/theta, etc and yet I still don't see anything changing and I was getting upset about this (well, these ascension energies really bring out a lot of frustration and impatience in me and my angels know this) because I thought maybe none of this is working and I know things take time - but when I got home today there was a feather on my walkway. I swear, EVERY single time I get upset or frustrated about these issues, I see a feather on my walkway - it is unreal. If I am in a good mood - I rarely see any feathers - so I know these feathers are definetly signs from my angels letting me know that they are there and to not give up. So there is hope for me yet!

mallie, from my perspective, it looks like you are WORKING very hard trying to fix things to make what you want to happen. Your beliefs appear to be that you have all sorts of blocks and areas where you need to be fixed. Then you search for signs in the middle of all this. From what I can tell, your beliefs are that there is something wrong with you that needs to be fixed to get what you want. If not that specifically, then something like that. Also, it seems that you have beliefs that you are blocked in general. Might I suggest that this is a belief that is causing your 'blocks' that if you trusted the universe and KNEW that you are truly worthy and deserving you wouldn't feel like you have to remove all these blocks and do all this clearing work.

You've said you are struggling. It looks a bit like you are may believe you have to struggle because it just can't be that simple. Could that be something that's going on here?

From what I've read in your posts, you are a lovely person who is caring about others as well as yourself. Your nature is kind and generally uplifting. Perhaps you're being too hard on yourself and making this into a job rather than going with the flow. Looking for meaning in numbers isn't really going to help you as much as relaxing and noticing what you feel you need to do in order to be able to manifest what you desire. It may also be a direct reflection of what you belief about being able to obtain whatever you desire, perhaps that it is something that doesn't come easily and therefore you best have all your ducks lined up in a row? Or maybe that you had best be deserving of it? Or that it will require work?

Maybe your angels are telling you to just stop driving yourself batty with all of this and relax and trust that there is no need to run yourself in circles. Creating your own reality should not be this hard. I don't think it is this hard. I think it's as easy as realizing that things you want will show up in one way or another, and in the meanwhile, enjoy life, notice limiting beliefs you have by paying attention to your thoughts, actions, fears, doubts... then rethink them. Evaluation can be such a simple process. As simple as looking at whatever the belief is and questioning if in a world where you create your own reality, is that belief something that's going to allow you to create what you choose or keep you from it? Sometimes it's as simple as seeing something we think or do from a different perspective, like an outsiders perspective, in this case for this post we'll say my perspective.

You do not need to clear, unblock, scrub, fix, or repair yourself! You are worthy. You are a lovely being. And you are here to experience your being in all of its glory. Maybe we're even here to LEARN how we create our own reality. I've seriously considered that this is the solitary reason we are here or at least for those of us that discover LOA/create your own reality material. Often we find it because we're struggling. Then we have the info how to no longer struggle so that we can simply create. Ah-ha! We're creators! That changes everything! Yet in some cases we still have our old behaviors and habits of struggling, which don't apply and never did but those behaviors and beliefs aren't always as easy to let go of until we give them a thorough examination.

Do you really believe that you have to do all this work on yourself or in general to be the glorious natural creator you always have been? You don't need to struggle or work to be who you are and do what you've already naturally done. You've been in struggle mode. Ah! A creation! An amazingly intricate one. Now you get to leave struggle mode behind! Viola! It's gone! Just like that! Okay, maybe it takes a little adapting - you know, learning how to relax and just be. Enjoy your beautiful being and allow your being to bask in itself without working or struggle or clearing a single thing.

It's interesting you keep seeing the 12:22, for the last 3 days I've seen the 12:12, to see these same numbers on 3 consecutive days, is a "sign" for me. Also, these could be related to the huge influx of energy we're having do to the recent solar flares. So the number's we're seeing are almost identical and I would not doubt... for the same reasons. The numbers mean to me, huge enegy shifts are moving through us now.

So I agree with your observation that feather sightings rarely happen when we are in a good mood, but seem to pop-up when we need a little pat on the back from the angels.

Yes, isn't it amazing about these feathers? I know, and you know that the angels are always there, but to see these feathers when we are worried, upset or frustrated about an issue is very reassuring and comforting (at least to me it is). For some reason the angels have decided my condos walkway is the perfect place for feathers and that is usually where I see them. Most people would probably try to discount this by saying that a bird was just shedding its feathers. But the ONLY time I see these feathers is the day AFTER I get upset or frustrated about things - any other time I see NO feathers. So this is definetely a sign for me because the timing is too uncanny. Like today, I am better and there are no feathers!

What I did when I saw the 12:12 was I started to reach for my angel numbers book then put it back down because I got a little intuitive nudge to do that, then I just asked myself, what does that number sighting mean, and the thought crossed my mind "huge energy shifts are taking place".

So sometimes rather than use the book, which I have been using for a long time, I ask my intuition (angels) for the meaning, and then observe my impressions and thoughts. So I DO go with my intuition most of the time with these number sightings, feather sightings, or any other "signs" from Spirit, which is probably what a shaman or mystic would do, since they didn't have any books to guide them in the language of signs.

So using the book is good, it's a great way to get you started but as time goes by you might want to tune-in to your intuition more, I know for me it was sort of a natural thing to do, or perhaps I just moved to a higher intuitive level and now doing that seem's very right.

So go with the book meanings... as I said, not all 12:12 sightings by all people will mean the same thing, we're all at different levels from a spiritual point of view, so you do have to consider that as you continue. I would imagine the angels keep their interpertations of the numbers in that book to a more general meaning, and the specifics they want you to gather by yourself.

Mallie... I don't mean to disrespect your religious beliefs..........But... Are you totally sure that an entity called "God" does exist in the first place or is it just you who needs to believe the existence of such an Entity to help ease the hardship of living and/or for other motives ?

I really appreciate your answer and it was wonderful - so thank you so much for it!

I do see a lot of "new love" in my future. New work that I love, new home that I love, a new romance that I love, financial freedom that I love and so on. For so many years now I have just been accepting crap in my life. I am in a job that has never made my heart sing or brought me real joy or love, I have outgrown where I live on so many levels. I have accepted lack and limitation in my life for years now. I have even had a lot of heart ache with men and past relationships. Even many friend relationships were not very good.

ALL of this is really being caused by me not loving or accepting myself and not being open to receive - or believing that I deserve to receive what I want or that I deserve to be happy. I have been working with an srt/theta healer and it is amazing the amount of past life activity I have brought with me into this lifetime. The great thing about srt/theta is it clears EVERYTHING out at a soul, genetic, dna, past life and subconscious level. Even my negative beliefs I had about God and what God really intends for me to have in this lifetime are being cleared out. So many things are being cleared, healed and released it is phenomonal.

I feel a lot more sure of where I am going and what is going to manifest for me. These past many years there was nothing but darkness and despair and like I said on one of my threads - it got to a point where I was just tired of the endless struggle and I just wanted out and I was going to kill myself at the end of last year - but then God intervened and told me to get a computer and it brought me a lot of new teachers and healers into my life that really helped me to heal a lot of issues that were holding me back. I never would have had access to this info had I still resisted getting a computer so the computer really was a godsend (no pun intended! lol!) for me and it really did not only save my life, but brought me out of all of the darkness and into the light.

I really do appreciate everyones answers and it has all been very helpful to me. This forum has also helped me to heal in so many different ways as well. I think God and the angels also guide everyone to whatever it is that will help with their healing. That's why I see so many people on this forum expressing frustration and despair with their life and the only thing I can tell them is to hang on and the darkness will go away and you will be brought into the light. That is why the saying "It is always dark just before the dawn" is a very appropriate saying. It is so true that before you go into the light/understanding/clarity - you go thru the darkness first. It is also known as the dark night of the soul.

Duality is the name of the game on this planet. You can't really know wealth and freedom and appreciate it until you have dealt with lack and limitation. You can't really know true love until you have experienced heartache or hate. You can't really know what light is until you have been in the darkness and so on. I am totally thru with experiencing the opposite of what I want.

I have a lot more power and clarity now in my life and I know what I want and I am going to get it! I am not accepting any compromise and I am not accepting less than the best in life anymore. I have been doing this my whole life and I deserve better than this! This is part of what taking back your power is all about. When you stop believing that God does not want you to have what you want and you start believing that God IS ON YOUR SIDE so many things shift and change for the better. But so many people do not have what they really want and they try to blame God or think that God is not on their side or that God does not want them to have what they want and that is so NOT true! God WANTS YOU TO HAVE EVERYTHING YOU WANT - you just have to get out of the way and OPEN TO RECEIVE!

What I did when I saw the 12:12 was I started to reach for my angel numbers book then put it back down because I got a little intuitive nudge to do that, then I just asked myself, what does that number sighting mean, and the thought crossed my mind "huge energy shifts are taking place".

So sometimes rather than use the book, which I have been using for a long time, I ask my intuition (angels) for the meaning, and then observe my impressions and thoughts. So I DO go with my intuition most of the time with these number sightings, feather sightings, or any other "signs" from Spirit, which is probably what a shaman or mystic would do, since they didn't have any books to guide them in the language of signs.

So using the book is good, it's a great way to get you started but as time goes by you might want to tune-in to your intuition more, I know for me it was sort of a natural thing to do, or perhaps I just moved to a higher intuitive level and now doing that seem's very right.

So go with the book meanings... as I said, not all 12:12 sightings by all people will mean the same thing, we're all at different levels from a spiritual point of view, so you do have to consider that as you continue. I would imagine the angels keep their interpertations of the numbers in that book to a more general meaning, and the specifics they want you to gather by yourself.

I think that is a great idea with using your intuition to figure out the meaning of numbers. I think sometimes you almost have to do it that way and then I think other times the books meaning is also relevant. That is why I think building up your intuition is soooo important to really decipher messages from God and the angels.

I am almost positive that the number 55 for me means change is on the way. The reason I am so sure of this is because not only do my angels know that I have been wanting out of these old situations for well over a decade (and some of them 2 decades now!) but they also know that I am very prone to depression and depair still and one of the many signs I keep seeing is 10:10, 2:22, 12:22, 12:12, 10:00, 1:11 and 11:11. These clock signs I see daily and the meaning is to keep your thoughts focused on what you want and not on what you don't want. Even for the 10:00 and 10:10 the meaning of this is that God wants me to keep remaining postive that my positive thoughts are affecting my future.


I also told my angels that if happy, rich, positive change is on the way I want to see 5's or 5:55 frequently. I think the angels are providing this hourly sign to not only show me that change is on the way and don't lose hope - but it also a sign they are providing to me to keep my hopes up so I don't fall into any depression again and create that negative vibration that would prevent me from manifesting what I want. That is why I think I also see the feathers as well. I think my angels are really trying to show support and show me that they are there and working with me. It is helping to keep my mood up and to keep my thoughts a lot more positive!
