Default Why do I exist? Why do you exist?

I woke up feeling horrible today and asking this question so I had a conversation with God and this is what I got.

Dear God, If you do exist, I have but one question? Why do I exist?

God: Honestly, I have no idea.

Me: Oh, okay. Then I was right? There is no point to it all?

God: That's right. It's all pointless. You live, you die. Nothing else.

Me: Then why do it?

God: Why not do it?

Me: Because it's painful. Why live to just be in pain? That seems cruel.

God: Yes, it would be cruel but if you are in pain then you choose that. Not me. I don't choose anything for you.

Me: How do I choose something else?

God: Let go of the pain.

Me: How exactly?

God: Imagine something else. Something different, whatever makes you happy.

Me: I've tried that, it doesn't work.

God: Keep at it until you believe it. For people with a long history of pain it is sometimes harder to believe. Look for the signs so that you don't doubt this is the truth or you will slip back and have to start over. Bad as things are for you, why don't you just junk everything you think you have learned up till now. Create your new world now in this moment. Stop thinking that it will happen when.

Me: Is that it?

God: Pretty much.

Me: I want to hit the lottery and be rich. Can I do that?

God: Sure, why not?

Me: Because it hasn't happened yet.

God: It can only happen if you believe it can. If you have doubts though then it can't happen.

Me: How can I not have doubts? My own mother thinks I'm nuts to believe it will happen, most people would think that.

God: First of all, you're not most people. Keep that first in your mind. It will happen when you know it will.

Me: I feel like I'm trying to break through a steel wall and it won't budge. I just keep hurting banging my head against it.

God: The wall exists only in your mind. It isn't real, neither is your pain. Get rid of your mind and the wall will fall away. Life is not logical. Don't look to the world or other people to tell you what it is.
They don't know. They just like the way it feels to act like they do and of the ones that insist they do know, they know the least.

Me: Thank you.

God: Anytime, I'm always here.

Me: Are you? How do I know you even exist?

God: You don't and it doesn't matter whether you think I exist or not.
The result is the same. Whatever you believe exists, so just be careful what you believe.

Me: So whatever I believe will happen?

God: Yes

Me: When? How long does it take?

God: As long as you think it will take. Time is just another illusion. It only exists if you think it does. You could fullfill your dreams right now in an instant if that's what you wanted to do.

Me: Is that it?

God: Yes. Nothing else.

Me: Okay, I think I got it.

God: Good, then you are set.

Me: Good.

If people had to believe before they won the lottery, nobody would ever win. Maybe you need to believe that you don't have to believe?

"Most people" are nuts!

Based on the rest of the post, I imagine there is that little caveat: "If you want to". after the "you die".

God doesn't need you. At all. There is no purpose you can fulfill in life other than those you choose to fulfill. You are not a means to an end.

Hi Radicalmommy,

Everything after that, was actually pretty good Self-talk, where you had Insightful ideas & beliefs,
such as
-> TIME is a construct, for our conscious benefit here/now.

In God's reality, there is no "time & space"

-> instead of wallowing in pain, Like you said: You are FREE to Choose
something different, whatever makes you authentically happy.

-> God is HAPPY so we can also live HAPPY too - because we are His creation.
You know "like Father, so is the son or daughter" - type of thing.

-> And since God created you Radicalmommy, of course He also knows why you exist, and
how Wonderfully...purposeful your precious life is forever... Enjoy

That's right, I can't see that anyone really believes they'll win the lottery- but I've never met any lottery winners so who knows.

Otherwise good post. Reminds me of 'conversations with God' which I loved reading, you may be able to write a book too

Oh thanks so much for that sk8joyful. Believe it or not, I had a wonderful day
today and nothing out of the ordinary happened, except that I felt some extreme joy and that everything was completely good right now. I seem to have these extreme highs and also extreme lows but the high days are becoming more frequent. There is an energy radiating from within me that I haven't had in a long time but I can continuously "feel" it so I expect something fantastic to happen soon. When the lows come it is because I'm looking at the past as the measurement of what could happen in the future and that is a mistake. (at least for me) The lows are just excruciating though with such a deep sorrow. I'm getting better now at remembering that they will pass while I'm there and also maybe that feeling sorrow doesn't mean all is lost. Maybe it's only a letting go of the past and doesn't mean it will repeat itself like I fear it will (which brings even more sorrow) or that I am failing in my quest to manifest unlimited abundance.

Anyway, thanks for your reply, that was grand!

I've read a couple articles about lottery winners and quite a few say they "knew" they were going to win. I think they probably "thought" they would win "one day" or had a relaxed feeling about it.

I'd like to "prove" that a person actually can "manifest" a win in the lottery if they are persistent. Until that time, I'm glad you liked my post. Maybe I should write a book. A book would be awesome too. I had the idea of writing a book this way but with another person and instead of it being a dialog back and forth it would be through email like I would send off an email to God@gmail.com and God would mysteriously email back. I'm looking for someone to write the God part, LOL. If I did it myself it might be funny though because I'd write this long email off to God and God would email something back like "Do I know you? Please specify your timeline and planet."

There's been like 10 people who've won the Lottery a couple times.

um, you seem to have this belief, that God is so FAR-away from you? - Actually, he KNOWS your every belief, thoughts, words & actions, before you even conceptualize them. So evidently, God is very close to you. And as a Christian, you can Invite & Welcome God into your own heart... it's true!

They know they can. I imagine winning the lottery and getting down on my knees (no matter where I am) and crying out "There is a God! I knew it! There is a God!" and then running around like a maniac screaming "I have proof!!! God exists!!!"

LOL, yeah, I do, don't I? I pray. I do. I pray without ceasing. Morning, all day, every night, everyday. Not sure just what or who I'm praying too so I just pray to everybody and all things. There's something to all this, that much I know but I think it lies within and not 'out there'.

I usually don't use the word "God" because it's so weighed down by images of a male, bearded man in the sky. To me "God" is energy. This energy is a high frequency love. (if you will) It is personal only to the extent that you think it is. It does not judge, it's completely impartial, anyone can access it within themselves or shut it down. The "veil" is being so wrapped up in your "mind/ego" that you don't even know it exists. I'd guess the general population falls into this category if not all the time than 99% of the time. In it though is pure bliss and freedom, regardless of physical circumstances. Ultimately, you can't even "know" it because you are it.

All power and true knowledge comes from it and it has no limits.

That's only for me. I'd never pretend to know someone else's truth because we are all 100% unique.

I can fall out of this understanding at any time and I often do. Then you might hear me say " What God?" but today I'm with it, thank God, pun intended.

Radicalmommy, if what you mentioned in OP is true, would manifesting scar away and regrowing hair back be possible? Do you know people that did it? I heard/read/talked with few, that supposedly did it.
But what about you?

I truly believe that manifesting ANYTHING is possible. I don't know anyone who has done what you ask but then I don't know anyone who needed and/or wanted to do that, myself included.

I believe you can heal yourself from anything and many people have done that but you already know that...somewhere. Who better to heal something than yourself who created/manifested said problem in the first place?

You "regrow" hair as a natural process. Hair regrows naturally in cycles: some shed, other return from hybernating, and grow again...

Also, once a scar, for which it was created has served its Biological-purpose, it's time for it to
disappear, and it does...

And because I know just HOW to help skin heal,
it does so without a doctor messing with it.
In my case, it's been 3 scars from up to 3rd.-degree burns.
I don't believe in "scars": hence mine don't stay.

The reason that God, as this ENERGY-entity, agreed
to be born to this earth as a "male bearded man", is for the purpose of fitting more IN
with the people whom He had chosen to save, in that part of the world at that time. -
In NLP, this is referred to as building Rapport

Even so, people didn't GET it, because they expected a KING on some fire-breathing steed (lol);
so only a few were Converted... and even soldiers at His Cross finally awoke...
then of course, there's nothing like the dead being RESURRECTED oh people WILL get it alright, eventually...

I can't see an energy-entity full of love choosing one person over another for any reason and as far as being saved, you save yourself by ending your suffering by being aligned or in tune with the energy on earth or otherwise. I don't believe there's any choosing going on as the energy is there for everyone and it can be perceived and experienced in who knows how many ways. My opinion...

Hi there,
In all fairness, (which wasn't really fair of you you know),
you decided to Hi-light some of my words, which I did
NOT in my original post. - Please don't make a post, fit your agenda.

Had you Hi-lighted the next part,
THIS: "in that part of the world at that time." you would be Contexturally-accurate.

Then, we can have a conversation from there. THANK you!

Sorry, you are right I did highlight a part of your text, really did not mean to offend and I don't really have an agenda. It is something that bothers me greatly however when it comes to Christianity though "this choosing" and the "saved" verses "the damned".

Once a pastor I saw at the gas station told me I better be careful driving home because if I wasn't "saved" and I crashed and died I would burn in hell for eternity. (and so would my kids who were with me) I told him "Thanks, I'll take my chances."

Honestly, I don't get the whole Christianity thing. I think Jesus Christ was definitely an enlightened holy being (and I pray to him often) but somehow, in my opinion, the retelling of it through the Bible got skewed and twisted into a fearful story designed to control the masses. But I don't have anything against Christians not even ones who threaten eternal hell on me, I let them be. I hope they are happy. That's all that matters.

Anyway, in my world, there's no God that chooses "anything or anybody."

Hi friend,
No harm done, & I don't mind if you had hi-lighted that 2nd part, really.
I almost never take 'offense'; it's so counterproductive, you know.

Well, all that satanic & human nonsense,
is not where God comes from.................He wants each of His kids saved.
It saddens Him, that a majority,
(thru whatever idiotic experiences),
then would choose another existence..... He LOVES us ALL.

Ouch!, sorry for that. - No, had he done his job right,
he would have offered you CHOICE, and Invited you to Accept Salvation for the Present that God intends: peacefulness, joyfulness, hopefulness. Notice how full of all good emotions & states-of-being you can be forever, & after death with a Perfect-body forever... And had he done his job right, he would have approached you in these states, and of course you want these for yourself & your precious children.

Goody! - & did you read where I told of how I got reaquainted with Jesus, as a 5yr. young child. How sweet is this? - He just keeps LOVING me: good for me! Anyway hopefully your experiences with Him, are likewise enjoyed.

I was fortunate: to get to know Him better, BEFORE
I started running into lost-Christians , in the USA.

Unfortunately true, and saddens God tremendously.

For example, when you open a Bible: the word, thought, action & habits of 'JOYFUL' is mentioned like 1000 times, because GOD (as Jesus) wants us to FOCUS our life on all things good. He created us to live happy...&
(the opposite of "control")....... God gave us CHOICE individually.
(any FEARful skewed, twisted mass-control, is satan's corrupted doing,
which unfortunately majority of christians, as parents too, bought into)
NONE of that is of God.

um, no that is Not "all that matters", not at all. - And tho I never told you
those awful things, for them I apologize for their empoverished behavior. God says:
"judge NOT! For with whatever judgments you judge, so will you also be judged."
That so many were so mistreated, makes me cry... I'm sorry.
