A little while ago, I decided to try Steve's $1 million manifestation experiment. Then only a few days had passed before I got a phone call asking me to participate in a $1 million dollar sweepstake. The catch was that I had to sign up for a magazine subscription. Since I already am subscribing several magazines, I said no. After hanging up, I couldn't help thinking if I did the right thing by declining the offer. I rarely ever received any phone call offering me sweepstakes before this call. Is it OK to say to the universe, "No, I don't want $1 million sweepstake. I want $1 million real cash." lol. |

It's just a magazine subscription. What you said to the universe was that the perception of propriety was more important to you than the million dollars. The "right" way would have been to welcome any way the universe had to get your million to you. I expect you'll have to reaffirm your desire for the million if you want it to manifest, as you just "canceled" this one. You might have better luck manifesting a different amount. $1.3 million is much less likely to draw these kinds of offers. And you might want to get in the habit of playing the lottery in amounts you're trying to manifest. You don't have to go crazy, that would be counter-productive, you just want to give the universe more ways to give you what you're looking for. |

It's my feeling that yes, it is alright to decline things like this even if they do seem like they are directly related to your intention. Back when I experimented with manifesting a lottery win, I noticed that I would see a ton more lotto advertisements than I usually would. Altogether, I stopped going after a win because although I think I managed to influence the winning numbers once (they didn't win me anything, but there were a bunch of very unlikely synchronicities between my two tickets and the winning numbers), it didn't feel like the right thing at the right time. Now I'm trying to manifest a car, and recently I had had a bit of deja-vu dealing with a black car. It's not the car that I want, but black is the preferable color for the one that I do, plus this car shares a few characteristics with mine—lack of chrome trim, twin tail pipes, a ~300bhp engine. And it's a rare car to see, I don't think there were more than 9000 black ones made. I think that as we consciously work to attract something, sometimes it has the side effect of attracting related but unintended things. When the intention is to receive $1 million, the universe might decide to introduce "$1 million" into your life in alternate, more "realistic" ways. Even if it's not the manner in which you'd like to have your intention manifest, it can't be a bad sign. It means the universe is at least listening. So don't lose faith, keep at it. |

When we set an intention to manifest something we often hinder the outcome because we try to be in control of how the final result will happen. If you want to manifest a lot of wealth/money into your life you have to be willing to accept all possibilities of how that will happen. Don't limit the journey on how you will arrive at your destination, just focus on the destination and let the universe figure out how you will get there. |

Focusing on the desired result is the best approach, that is my take anyway. Consider the lottery for a moment. What if 1 million people in the United States set an intention to win one of the national lotteries, Powerball, for example. There are only two drawings per week for a total of 104 per year. It isn't mathematically possible for those 1 million people to each get a turn at winning the lottery within each of their lifetime's. Now I'm not saying that it couldn't happen, someone could use the LOA and win the lottery, but if you want your manifestations to come about quicker I think focusing on the end result is the best option. |
