what does it mean when a ladybug lands on you

Hey guys,

Not sure if this means anything but in my life I have always asked angels and guides for signs, clairvoyent dreams etc, to communicate messages to me and tonight I was in the bathroom and I looked down at my sweatpants and I saw a ladybug. Now keep in mind I was home all day and did NOT go outside so I thought it was unusual and I immediately thought - this has got to be some kind of sign cuz for me since this was unusual. Have any of you had this happen to you and did good luck come into your life?

I've been visualizing and affirming the good I want to manifest. Oh, by the way starting last year I also had a little pacific tree frog (and sometimes 2) living on my upstairs apt balcony. He left in nov (probably to hibernate) and came back recently and frogs are also supposed to be good luck. I think the Universe is trying to tell me to keep my hopes up cuz good luck is coming my way!

I think with LOA sometimes it's only human nature when you start getting a little depressed and doubtful (hey, we're only human right?) that maybe the universe sends you these little things to help you to keep your hope up otherwise we could easily sink into deeper depression and doubt and totally undo all the good work we have been doing.

Have any of you had signs like this or other signs that turned out to be portents of things to come? If so, what manifested for you?

This post has both made my day and made me laugh. Was feeling unsure (read my post of yesterday) then read this. Guess what landed on my bag about an hour ago? Yes a ladybird (or bug as they say downunder). Are we really getting signs? Am so excited!

I read some of your posts and you sound just like me in regards to trying to manifest certain big things. There is such a thing as diving timing and it is said that when the universe makes you wait a long time for your desires to manifest it is usually cuz they are going to be bigger and better than what you originally asked for.

I had some clients many, many years ago that put their house on the market cuz they wanted to move to a bigger, more wealthier area and they put their house on the market and it would not sell. I was surprised cuz they had a really nice house - but after several months they decided to take they home off the market. 3 months later, the husband gets notice of a big promotion with pay raise but the job was in another state! This time when they put the house on the market - it sold immediately! What a major inconvenience it would have been if they had manifested exactly what they wanted. 2 moves, 2 house showings - wow- within a few months of each other. So it's good that things worked out the other way.

I am also delighted I saw the ladybug and I think your angels and guides and mine are communicating to us both that our wishes are going to come true. Because how often do ladybugs land on you? Probably not that often and there is a reason why I found this forum yesterday and posted this message today - this could also be another confirmation sign for you as well about what the meaning of the ladybug landing on you really meant. I don't see any ladybug posts on this forum so it's not like this is a highly talked about subject. Again, that can also mean it's a sign - when it is something out of the ordinary or unusual in some way. The angels can be quite creative when they are trying to get their messages to you - so I think this is a very hopeful, happy sign for both of us!

Also, in regards to manifesting - have you ever looked into the subject of "allowing" There is a really good book called "The amazing power of deliberate intent - Living the art of allowing" by ester and jerry hicks (part of the abraham series). It really goes into why you are not receiving your desires and is a good read. Sometimes we get in our way (ie; doubt, fear) and block our manifestations, sometimes it's due to divine timing, sometimes it's lessons we need to learn b4 leaving an old situation. Ask your angels to send you even more signs to show you the way (wouldn't it be funny if lots of ladybugs landed on you after asking for more signs?)

Well again your post made me smile. We too had our house on the market last year to move to a better suburb and despite being told how nice it is by agents
it didn't sell. Move forward a few months and my husband has started his own business so wouldn't have been so great to increase our mortgage afterall.
And I was looking for suggestions of a book on 'allowing'

Glad to make your day! Have you seen my new post? LOA-how to prevent negativity from manifesting during low times in life? I have been using this technique during a balcony reconstruction cuz I find it very difficult to maintain a joyful mood when I am tired and obviously being woken up to hammers, sawing etc is very hard. So I hope this easy technique can help you as well (there's no visualizing or hard work required). The post is on this page towards the middle.

Also the whole line of books by joseph murphy, joe vitale, michael losier, catherine ponder, the whole ester and jerry hicks (abraham) series, have all been very helpful reads for me. Also, I love the book "the magic of the mind" by Louise Berlay. It is a fun read with lots of case studies of people using visualization to get their desires manifested. Creative visualization by Shakti Gawain in also another helpful book for visualizing.

Also, if your angels are talking to you via time signs (like if you see 1:11 or 2:22 or the # 5 or #3 all the time - you might want to check out my other post called "does anyone keep seeing 1:11 11:11 or 12:22 and 2:22. Someone just left a link to a website with all the numbers interpreted that was very helpful to me

Thanks, I haven't got into the numbers thing yet but it's certainly made me more aware. Today I got to my car to find all the electric windows were down, I haven't driven it for a few days and would have noticed it when going to my other car. Now I feel like I'm going crazy, could it have a meaning? Or just an electrical fault?!

It may or may not be a sign. I would trust your gut - if you see something and right away say to yourself " I know this is a sign" then it probably is. If you can't understand the meaning you can always ask the angels for clarification or to send you a new sign. For instance I just told all my angels and archangels to start communincating to me with lots of time signs and signs in general and I went out to the kitchen and saw that the time was 4:44 and I just right away knew that it was a sign and went and read the meaning. It said that the angels are around you and helping you etc and that was a very reassuring sign. Of course, I already know they are helping me and guiding me but it was nice to get the reassurance.

You may have just accidently hit a switch or something (does anyone else have access to your car) or it could be an electrical malfunction. One time I went to go check my car to see if it was all locked up for the night and I noticed the flap (whatever you call it) to the gas cap was open and I don't remember hitting any switch and I walked right past it when I first got out of my car earlier in the evening but obviously did not see it. It's a good thing I decided to check my car for the evening! If it happens again, I would take your car in. Electrical malfunctions can sometimes short out and catch fire so just keep an eye on it and maybe call a mechanic.

Sometimes your angels do send you signs like this so that it catches your attention to an underlying problem. Like the lady who is coughing, goes to the doctor and the doctor discovers a cancer growth that would have been deadly if not caught early but since she went to the doctor for the cough, it was caught in time. So just keep an eye on it and sometimes mechanics will look things over for free or for a small fee and it is better to be safe than sorry

Karn, just needed to tell you my shopping bill came to $111.74 today and when I glanced at my phone yesterday I caught a 1.11. However, I do wonder if it's just a case of being aware now-at the end of the day I did see a lot of numbers yesterday. I'm comparing it to when you buy a new car and then notice it everywhere or when you name your child then it seems there are hundreds of kids with the same name. Are we just more tuned into things and now notice them, bit like if you send an intention to the universe?

Must admit though, however you look at it - the shopping bill did make me smile!
