Hey all, i just watched the movie the secret, and although i really liked it, and it explained exactly what the law of attraction is, i feel a little left in the dust about the methods i should use to actually attract myself what i need. Any help would be highly appreciated. |

There are many methods like visualisation, affirmations, writing your goals down etc, but I think the key to LoA is to realise that you're always doing it. It doesn't have an on/off switch. The trick is to become aware of it and make it work better for you on a daily basis. I find writing goals down doesn't help me, but pictures do and especially mental pictures. Through your choices, beliefs and thoughts you are creating your life, your reality, you're the programer, the creator and you can create and have anything you desire, there are no limits. If you want to know which methods to use, take a look at what you're already doing that is attracting what you're getting today. What methods work for you right now? Power to the Max PS I'm finding that the more I understand the system and LoA, intending and manifesting, is very easy requiring very little focus and/or emotion. I'm not convinced any more that strong emotion and/or intent focus are even required. It seems trust and awareness are more important. Ask and It Is Given by Abraham-Hicks has a bunch of processes in the second half of the book which you might find helpful. Feel It Real by Denise Coates also contains several processes that might be helpful. |

| I would recommend that you choose one method, stick to it for some time, explore itand get really familiar with it. Later you will realise how it works for you and how it does not work for you - and this realisation will naturally lead you to the next better method for yourself.

Yeah, Intense feelings are not neccesary. Simple feelings of appreciation, and gratitude take you a long long way. The bigger feelings like joy, do come in, and expand, but it's not neccesary to start from that place. I've found that my big intial JOY, I felt, after learning the Secret, has not diminished, but has settled down to a nice feeling of FFREEDOM, EASE, GRATITUDE, and soon, what followed was peacefulness, and this has been with me ever since. All these combined, add up to HAPPINESS. I've found that since I am in this state of happiness, there has been no flucuation of up, or down. I just plain ans simple FEEL GOOD, no matter what is going on, and more goodness is showing up, on a continous basis. |
