Do you think it is possible to bring someone back from the dead?

Does anyone believe this is plausible, if not probable?

Since death is just a shift in consciousnesses couldn't we shift the consciousness to bring someone back either by changing the event which lead to the persons "death" or literally bringing back the person from "down under"?

I'm not completely buying the Bashar/Esther Hicks paradigm that says those who have "croaked" choose or are content to be dead. I do understand how they may have attracted it, by negligent thoughts but if they had been more careful with their thinking maybe their death would never have occurred in the first place.

Now I've read a great many things in regards to teleportation, materializing from the ether, growing limbs, etc, but not much of changing "past" events or bringing someone back to this Reality. However, just because we have not seen/heard this doesn't mean it can't be done. And if it were done most would probably keep it secret because they would be thought of as psycho.

Furthermore, if there are parallel realities then maybe in another reality this peron that I want to bring back never got in an accident in the first place. And is alive and thriving
