I make sure to involve all my senses - I periodically rub my mental cash, smell it (distinctive tangy odor per my crisp new "source" bill ), listen to the crackling when I bend it. Another nice touch I hadn't planned, that adds an amusing note of realism - sometimes I lose count and have to start over

Holy Cow, I do it exactly as you do. Since I cannot clearly visualize, I also just focus on the feeling of money in my hands, and just counting it. And it's really feel good though I still haven't got the results, but I choose to believe that this will works

Stick-to-it-iveness, richest, that's the approach I'm taking. No worry about results, just keep doing it in a fun way over and over and over...

What I like to do when I finish counting my invisible money is put it in my drawer and then forget about it. Then later on during the day I go back in my room, open my drawer and take out my invisible money to count it again with my eyes closed. Then I put it back in my drawer. Always works

Excellent suggestion - I've been either cutting the visualization off right after my count, or putting the money in a box I don't actually have. Better to 'anchor' this to a real location

I don't know whether this is the results from counting money techniques I've been doing for these couple days.

I lend some money to a friend about $100, and it's been 3 months I still can't return it to him.

Today I practice counting money about three times until this afternoon, than suddenly my friend called me and asked me to help him setup application for his web and he said I don't have to pay my loan to him, consider it's done

im liking the idea. i ve just tried it and it didn't feel like anything straight away, (quite simple technique really and i think keeping it simple is very important) yet in a bout 2 minutes i've started to feel vibration from the exercise, it feels strange yet i know its efficient enough... to a certain point. In my personal opinion whats missing is manifesting intuition into that exercise... For about 3 months now ive been looking for a way that "feels right" to manifest money. Most of it was dedicated to lottery tickets however, cant remember how i got to it but in the end the only phrase that felt extremely good was "through intuition you can achieve anything".

Ok, snowflake's drawer post gave me an idea.

How about this variant, tell me if you like it...

I pull out my wallet, which is ("imaginarily") thick with many $100 bills. I take out the bills, set the wallet aside, and count them out onto the table.

I pick up the wallet a second time, and amazingly it has magically re-filled with bills again! So I count out the bills again, adding them to the previous stack on the table.

Repeat as often as desired, then put the wallet away (in pocket or wherever), and money in a drawer.

I call this "The Bottomless Wallet™".

You can either use your actual physical wallet, or imagine one up.

Like snowflake's idea, The Bottomless Wallet can help involve the other senses besides sight.

Alpha reflection? I've been meditating on a specific dollar amount for two or three days now. Today I helped my Mom with grocery shopping, as I generally do. Normally she pays, but this time she gave me her money and let me do it while she went ahead to take care of something else. What was the amount? Exactly 1/10th of my target.

I was counting out hundred dollar notes, but the other night I was watching a crime show and one of the criminals had folded wads of hundred dollar notes, bound with rubber bands, in bundles of what I assume to be $1000. So I decided to start counting bundles instead. I guess we'll see.

This is a great visualization for keeping money as the object of concentration. What if you could keep this up for an hour or two? That would surely change your emotional state.

This reminds me alot of the gold necklets story of Tom Booth. He put his invisible gold necklets on at the morning and in the evening he put it off and that repeated for a few day. Then the gold necklets just appeared out of thin air, it was a sudden arising of gold necklet in the field of awareness. Thsi works because he convinced hisself that the gold necklets were for real.

Read the story of the blind father and the 2 sons in the bible, it stands there how this kind of "prayer" is appliead.

This is not a technique that I have heard of but it is certainly something that I am going to try. It sounds simple and quite fun. I will report back.

Thanks for this.

Thanks for this.
I found a way to make it more fun for me: the fake money I printed for myself tends to stick together, even after being crinkled, which makes it a pain to count, so this morning I spontaneously took the whole wad and threw it around me. Gathering and counting scattered bills is easier, the experience is less rote and thus more vivid, and the 'messy' aspect brings out the kid in me!

That's kinda funny W-Frog!

Ok, I got another idea. Maybe some of you are already doing this:

What about listening to your favorite money affirmations/mantras CD/mp3 at the same time as the counting? Or just repeat them yourself out loud or in mind?

Thank you so much for this thread. I have been struggling big time with IM recently and I was about to post a very negative thread...this is just the tonic.

A couple of days ago I watched the movie 'Touching The Void '

YouTube - ‪Touching The Void Trailer‬‏

about a climber trapped in the andes who manages to crawl out with a broken leg. and there's a bit where he makes himself crawl in 20 minute sections because the whole trip down seems so impossible.

Of course my money problems are not the same at all, but it strikes me that this note counting is a good way to 'chunk' intention - manifestation. So instead of trying to tackle where my business should go now(too big), I'm going to count some cash!

I'm starting off with £20 notes not £50 ones as £20s are something I see everyday. So they are more real to me to begin with.

Will come up with some creative ideas to add to those posted already

HAPPY GIRL ALREADY

Wahey! I don't believe it

It's now a day after I posted and did this technique for £300 in £20 notes. I knew when to let go of the visualisation, really natural. That was yesterday afternoon.

Today I got round to selling a site of mine that makes no money - I expected to get nothing or max £20, but literally 5 minutes after I posted the sale someone emailed me with an offer of $200! The money is now in my account

also a client asked me to do something extra for him - £50. So that's a total of about £170 so far

Wow!

There is a technique for imagining money going into your "universal bank account" that I have used with success in the past. It is from the book Ask and It is Given by Abraham-Hicks. It's called the prosperity game. I found one link that leads to a pdf of the method (although it's not taken directly from the book)

The Prosperity Game : Handbook

It basically entails keeping a ledger of an imaginary or "universal" bank account. You start by depositing $1000 dollars in the first day. Every day, though, you are supposed to "spend" the money in your imagination and make purchases of all the things you want to buy. You can write checks for these thing. Then, you withdraw the money from your account. The next day, you deposit $2000 & spend it, then $3000, and so on and so on.

When I was doing this I was actually collecting real deposit slips from the bank and writing them out (as well as writing the deposits down in my notebook/ledger). I also made photocopies of real checks and would write them out for every purchase I made. You will quickly see how difficult it is to spend $50,000 & up every day.

When I was doing this exercise consistently I was seeing some real results coming my way financially. The book Ask and It is Given is filled with 23 exercises like these all related to manifesting abundance. Whenever I have done these exercises consistently my life has improved dramatically.

Yes! I like that one, I really like that whole book, in fact. When I did it I doubled the amount every day. And yeah, it wasn't long before I stopped out of the challenge of spending so much money every day! I guess when you're used to it you would know what pricey stuff costs, whereas I kept having to look up prices so I could at least be in the ball park for realism. Because fake donating tens or hundreds of thousands just to spend it felt like cheating! hahaha. Sure the benefactors would love that in real life, though. "You were just in here yesterday giving us $100,000, and now you're here with another $200,000?! Can we at least throw you a fund-raiser?"

One way to "tweak" the counting money technique, so it works even better, is to ask the angels of abundance and prosperity to help you. So what you would do is say outloud something like "I am asking the angels of abundance and prosperity to please help me manifest (for example $500) or more nto my life very quickly...thank you".

And then just go about your normal counting out the money, and then forget about the whole thing. Everytime you sit down to count out your imaginary money... first ask the angels to help you.

This should speed things up in amazing ways!

This is pretty much what I've been doing!

1) Listen to the "Money Meditations"
2) Make an MBO request for efficacy of money-counting exercise
3) Do the "Aah" meditation, focusing on my intended dollar amount
4) Count the moolah, both internally and externally
