awesome :) I've been (seriously this time) looking into this stuff in practice. I've shifted my state of mind recently for the better. More happiness, less anxiety, more stability and collectedness. I'm pretty sure it's from: 1. doing what I need to do to make myself happy 2. meditating on good feelings. I don't really visualize per say, I'd prefer to call it imagining and I've been slipping into a feel good state more and more often. probably 1-2 times every 1-2 days. Anyways I bunch of work has showed up for me, easy stuff good paying. Not sure if it's a coincidence or just because it's the start of summer. One thing is for sure, positive imagination does have a good effect on your subconscious... As long as there isn't way too much dissonance between your imagination and reality stimulating negative feelings. |
Thank you, this was very informative. :) |
Thanks so much Erin for the article! I loved the part where you say: "If you think about being wealthy, you will attract wealth. But if you think about becoming wealthy you will attract lack. Why? Because if you are hoping to attract wealth you are affirming that you don’t currently have it. If you continue to think about not having wealth but wanting it, you will continue to not have wealth and want it. Do you understand why this is so?" That's so important, that statement, it needs to be repeated like everyday by people who wish to attract something. |
Thank you, this is really spot-on for today! I asked for peace, longed for it, and in the midst of a crazy day I suddenly sat and simply felt it...which turned the day wonderfully :) When I read your blog I realised that I never really understood the difference between wishing for something and feeling it. Huge. Thanks again. |
Fantastic article! Just what I needed. I had to bookmark it so I can go back and reread it. Thanks for sharing :) |
Thanks for the article, lots of good points there. Question for me is though. You say about not wishing for things because it affirms you dont have it; however, would that not mean if you take actions you are again affirming that you dont have the thing you're looking for. I do accept though that thoughts can be classified as actions as well, and you need to have actions somewhere on the line |
Very nice article. Thanks Erin. I also want to know the answer of the question from oasis ;) |

So taking action is OK, you just need to be in the "I already have it" point-0f-view. |
I love it! Just wanna keep one right here - to want something to be manifested without a lot of effort in actions. So, since I'm the one who is deciding how it should be - then i can also daydream, put myself into alignment, feel, clean negative energy and alter my beliefs about the idea that I have to take some serious action for something to be manifested. And of course, according to that - not take any. :D Yes, i really love it! :) |
Very insightful article. The dialogue is a great way of explaining the point about taking action. |
Daydream and feel the feeling, I think are the two most important aspects. However, it can be hard to feel wealthy if you've never been wealthy. One of my favorite things to do to overcome this feeling of "not knowing" is to imagine I'm searching for my new house. I find potential dream homes in a local real estate listing then go take a drive and imagine that I'm out going to open houses. Be like an actor and immerse yourself into your new role as a wealthy tycoon. |
Excellent article. You pointed out exactly where I always go wrong, wishing something will happen instead of believing it already has. |
The most important thing I got from this was the need to feel it already. T'other day in these forums there was a thread about counting cash mentally to create it - http://www.stevepavlina.com/forums/i...que-works.html the interesting thing is after doing just that £260 has come into my life in only 3 days( I imagined counting £300)...the point I'm making is that I imagined counting it out in £20 notes...which is something I do 2 or 3 times a month as hubby always gives me his contribution to the house in lumps of £200 or £300...in £20 notes. So what I was imagining was exactly the same as something I do anyway on a regular basis. Thanks for the great article |
