You had a really good experience which lifted you. That's lovely. It's real, don't worry. The only thing is....human experience is about ups, downs, middles, life is not either/or, in reality it's ok to feel down. Being "up" isn't meant to last forever. Life isn't like that. Just believe in yourself. Accept if you feel down, try not to get too worried about that, know it won't last forever, the sun will come out after the rain, just as the rain will come sometime after the sun.... Just live, and do your best. |

I think what you have been experiencing is probably down to gratitude more than anything else I can think of at the moment. As a race we obsess about the negative, it's everywhere we look, the news, T.V. programs, friend's daily problems, the radio and just about anywhere you may choose to go. Because of that, we spend a lot of our precious time in the negative, limiting ourselves and those around us by trying to be "realistic" and logical about life. We observe how others treat us and what they say to us and from that we conclude that we must be "that" type of person and therefore limit ourselves and block our progress altogether which leads to stagnation-lack of ambition-lack of confidence-boredom-procrastination-loss of faith-lack of self-belief etc It is only when we manage to get away from all that by going away on holiday or staying home for a few days, that we begin to question our lifestyle and the "type" of person we previously believed we were. Because you are away from the familiar surroundings which your mind associates with your previous beliefs about yourself, you are free to choose to be whoever you want without all those negative associations and opinions of others getting in the way. So to get back to gratitude, you are then free of those negative shackles that previously bound you and instead of feeling abject about circumstances, you begin to feel gratitude. Gratitude that you are being who you wish to be for once, able to express yourself as you really want to and in feeling that gratitude, you begin attracting pleasant circumstances that match your new vibration and mindset. It is difficult to stay that way for very long though once you have gotten back into your old environment, so daily reinforcement of that gratitude and new mindset is a must. You sound like you have stepped onto a new path. I wish you well and hope that you steadfastly hold to your new vision of life. I hope I made some sense here. Take care. |

I say that the new surrounding turned negative feelings into excitement, interest, possiblity, hope, new awareness. Most people "get away" to refresh the mind which opens ourselves to new possibilities and inspiration. To make it last is to keep exploring the things that create passion. Make a conscious effort questioning yourself "what will make me happy now." I think helping other people who are not able to help themselves... giving love in as many ways as possible opens up the Happy which opens up the Passion. |
