We Get What Other People Give Us, Or We Get What We Give To The Universe

I was thinking earlier today about intention manifestation and I realized that the most productive periods of my life occurred when I was not really competitively oriented and was more blessing oriented. I definitely wanted good things to happen to me, but also I wanted good things to happen to other people. And most importantly I would give a lot of the intangibles such as love, compassion, empathy etc. In return people or the universe gave everything back to me in equal proportion. When I needed something, people came into my life that would provide what I needed. When I needed a girlfriend, a bevy of interested girls popped up and I did not have to do much but just be. When I needed a mentor, somebody popped up and we established a relationship. When I needed money, it was brought to me. I lived in a very relaxed way and did not force anything on me, and I generally expected good things to happen to me. Now, this does not mean that I was perfect, in fact I know that I had as many imperfections as I have now. It is only that right now I tend to think more about my imperfections instead of thinking more about my blessings and blessing other people in return.

So, in a nutshell we get what we give, the more we give the more we get. And what we give does not need to be anything that is tangible, it in fact needs to be more on the level of a higher energy because that is what the universe works with, energy. Thus, we should send a a good thought, a thought of love, a thought of compassion, a thought of support and so on.

Also, we need to make sure that we are not giving because we expect payback, rather we should give because that is basically our nature and we just want to do it. And in return we will get back what we want from the universe, because it is in the nature of the universe to give to us what we want, without wanting anything in return, because the universe basically exists for our enjoyment and for our fufillment. So, work to develop your oneness with the universe, work to develop your nature and the universe will start working with you.

Yeah I agree with you. When you desire good things for others and think good thoughts and send good energy their way. It will come back to you prehaps even stronger.

Just like people who practice magick know if you send a curse out to someone the universe will come back to give it to you even harder!

I think the same can be said of a blessing. Someone told me this saying "What ever someone desires for another, may god Multiply that desire back to him". It was said this was a saying to stop people from sending negative thoughts or curses to others.

Then I told the man who taught me this saying. Well then what If I desire lots of riches, and success to a man who is not successful? Won't god multiply my thoughts and desires for him? And the man told me. You are very smart. I never even thought of that.

So I do agree that what we give out is what we get in return. That is why I send blessings to all around me. And It feels like it all comes back to me, because I am always blessed with good luck.

Back when I used to have an angery hateful attitude towards others, it seemed I could never find success no mattter how hard I tried.

But see, the "trick" here, if you will, is to not do it for that reason. Just do it because it's the right thing to do.

Yeah I do it for both reasons. It's the right thing to do AND I also get the blessings back which is very nice!

Yes, definitely. But then you have to be careful of feeding that ego. It will always want more!

That is true! I just like to spread positive energy to all those around me! And it seems like it rubs off on them and then everyone becomes more happy.

Hi,

From my watching of The Secret and the Law of Attraction I understand that we attract what we think about. The sign of the thought positive or negative doesn't matter as our sub-conscious doesn't differentiate signs.

There is a saying that we should pass the light and get the torch which I take to mean that it is only in giving that we get to receive.

I find all these reading very mentally exercising and have just read an interview from Bob Proctor about the Science of Getting Rich which he links to The Secret, Law of Attraction and the inspiration reading of Think and Grow Rich and SGR. An interesting interview.
