The Secret vs other LoA teachings

Personally, I see The Secret as the watered-down, Hollywood version of LoA. It misses so much and the sad thing is that so many people will fail using what The Secret teaches. I own the book and DVD (gifts) and they are of a tiny bit of benefit because I've already studied several different teachers of LoA.

The Secret is a good introduction to LoA, but like you said, it is all Hollywooded and glammed up to drive in the masses. However, hopefully people might get the hint and start to dig for deeper teachings of LoA, different teachers, etc. and learning its true nature, not the one depicted on 'The Secret' as some sort of instantaneous cure-all.

The Secret was made to appeal to the mainstream and it definitely only touches the tip of the iceberg. But I think it's absolutely wonderful that so many more people are being introduced to the Law of Attraction as a result of the movie's tremendous success.

From my personal experience, many of the people that I know who knew nothing about LOA before watching the Secret have gone on to further explore the concept. They have gone online to see what else is out there, they have sought out the various works and authors mentioned in the Secret.

So while a lot of people might fail because they only stick with what's in the movie, I think that there are a lot of people out there who have already gone on to enhance their understanding of LOA.

The secret is not out there. It is within. You do not have to go looking for further info, out there. It was placed right before. You say you understand, and yet you say you are disappointed. You are in fear, and lack. You are not in gratittude.

Your searching of many sources for more, in many more books will bring you nothing, when you are ungrateful for the truth that was revealed to you.

How is it that you think you can appreciate more, when you failed to appreciate, and even more...you criticize.

Just as you have judged, it will be for you.
