Manifesting coins

A couple of days ago I really went for it - manifesting coins So far it's going better then I expected and I am starting to believe that it could be a great excercise to strengthen our believe in the LOA.

I got interested in this "excercise" after reading some of Steve's posts on abundance. I tried it on several occasions but didn't put much effort into it and got no results.

A couple of days ago I was walking home and decided to try it again. I formed the intention and created an affirmation. A minute later I noticed something shiny on the ground...it was a small chrome ball (no idea what these are but I find lots of them since I started the experiment). I assumed it was an alpha reflection and actually picked it up and extended thanks to the universe. I didn't find any real coins on the way back. However that night I had a dream of finding lots of coins on the ground - they were everywhere and as I started to pick them up, other dream characters also noticed them and before long everyone was happily collecting coins
The next two days I spent with friends but as soon as we parted the thought of coins returned. I decided to really go for it - I went out specifically for the purpose of finding coins I was out in the cold for about three hours but it was worth it. First I found two 100yen coins (*1yen is roughly equal to a penny so 100yen is something like a dollar) in a vending machine, then a 1yen coin near a parking lot and one more yen near a department store. Also I found two strange coins that I later identified as slot machine tokens . Besides I also had brought home another metal ball, some buttons and other round objects I picked up as alpha reflections
In money value this result is hardly lucrative, but in terms of LOA understanding it was an invaluable experience. I felt really powerful for being able to just put my mind on something and have it materialize.
On the next day(yesterday) I was at school the whole day so my time for coin finding was very limited. Nevertheless, on my way home, I spotted a 1yen coin near a vending machine and picked it up.
Today I was able to dedicate some time to my new hobby and I found another 10yen coin.
I am really excited because for three consecutive days I was able to create an experience that I would normally only have a few times a year. Initially I was thinking that if I can only find one or two coins within a month it would still help me create a shift in my perception of the world. But the actual results exceeded my expectations greatly.

I think this is a great LOA exercise because it's easy to get playful with it and it's hard to get too attached to the outcome.

If there are any experienced "coin manifesters" around here, I'd love to hear some advice and success stories
I'll be doing this for at least another month, so if you want to join me in the experiment, that would be awesome too!

USA-based story here - right after I learned about "The Secret" from a friend, and read the book, I decided to do the coin manifesting exercise. On a walk through the park shortly after, I found a small heap of coins - IIRC a quarter surrounded by five pennies. In the course of the rest of that day, being vigilant but without making any other special effort, I collected an additional five pennies (I can recall thinking something like, "oh well, only 4", and then spotting the last between my feet in the car ). Thereafter, several times during that week, I would find various denominations in groups of five*. Like you, at around the same time I had a dream of finding lots of quarters.

I lost my "mojo" after that, when a deeper exploration of TS's contributors soured me on the integrity of some (including one who, in a series of email exchanges, told me up front that IM/LoA didn't work as advertised and that the phenom wasn't much more than a marketing gimmick for PD gurus). I would still find coins at times, but never in the amusing quantities I'd done before. I sometimes wonder how things would have played out if I'd built my initial foundation on a less 'shaky' source, but I've seen enough weirdness in my life to keep me from giving up on the subject.

Maybe I should give this another go, find my way back to the childlike 'fun' mindset that probably served me better

I have tried coin manifesting after reading Steve's article on it. Every time the money seems to manifest in a different way. And the amount is much bigger than what would be manifested with coins. Two weeks back, I decided to try it again. Nothing happened that day. Couple of days later, when I went to recharge my internet subscription, the guy told me that the rates have come down and I paid 30% less than I normally do.

However in this case I wanted to see if I could exercise more control over the manifestation so I defined some more constraints - I specifically wanted to manifest coins outside of my home. I think as long as you see the whole thing as a game, you can put all sorts of constraints and rules and you'll still be fine.

Wax Frog - Mmm, heaps of coins - nice I agree that The Secret had it's flaws and a few of the teachers on it seriously screwed up. But I think in this case we shouldn't judge the teaching by the way it was presented. I think "childlike fun" is the best possible attitude towards any desire.

Today things got a bit weird. I was meeting my girlfriend for lunch and for the sake of the experiment I decided to walk, rather then going by bicycle or taking the subway. It was a 40 minutes walk so I had plenty of time to look for coins. Shortly after leaving home a found another slot machine token - maybe I should give those things a try .
Since I found 200 yen in a vending machine I started checking all of them(in Japan vending machines outnumber the people lol.) . In the coin return slot of one of the many I checked today I noticed a 500 yen coin! I pretended to buy a drink and extracted the cash ... well, it wasn't just 500 yen; there were four 100 yen coins as well. Someone must have put a 1000 yen bill in, bought a 100 yen drink and forgot to take the change.
Later I found a 1 yen coin next to a vending machine.
I was almost home and I thought I'd call it a day when I noticed an attractive girl in the distance. At first I thought "I don't intend to talk to her so why bother" but then it occurred to me that she might be a white rabbit. So I continued walking in her direction and soon came to another vending machine next to which I found a 10 yen coin.
So my balance for today is 911 yen and a token - that will be hard to beat.
After today I know that if I put some effort into it I can find coins, there is no doubt about it anymore. I didn't expect it would happen that quickly.
Finding a "large" amount of coins was a bit confusing. Sure, I was happy and even felt a strange feeling of power. On the other hand a moral question arose: "Could it be that my strong intention to find coins caused the other person to forget to take his change?". Most IM teachers say that the universe won't take stuff from other people and give it to you, that you cannot create in other people's reality etc. But is it really so? Any insight on that would be appreciated!

If you think about it...on any given day people loose lots of money in the street. I remember Stuart Wilde saying... all you need to do to find that money is to be in the right place at the right time. So finding coins is only the beginning... you could find large sums of CASH if you wanted too... especially if you live in a large city, but I guess it would work anywhere really.

Once you know you're going to find money... it will work it's way to you!

It's been a while but I thought I'd give an update.

AngelPsychic444 - that's how I intend to go about it. Finding coins is just an exercise the experience of which I think could be used to manifest larger sums and also to achieve things in other areas of life.

Here is what happened in the last month:
After the day I started the experiment I was able to find coins for 10 days straight. On two of those days I had almost no time at all but I still found some coins during the 5-10 minutes I spent on the street. My mind was very focused on that goal - I was even finding coins in most of the dreams.
Then during the next three weeks or so I had to shift my attention fully to another area and the flow of coins stopped for a while. Obviously finding coins was still something that I needed to DO, and not something that comes to me naturally. However after my other project had settled a bit I started finding some coins here and there. They were mostly 1yen coins but I also found a few 100yens.
Yesterday I felt really inspired to look for some coins...only 5 seconds after I got the nudge I found a 100yen coin lying on the ground. That was the fastest I've ever gone from conscious intention to manifestation. I decided to look some more and after a few minutes there was 50yen in a vending machine. Few minutes later I found 1yen on the ground. I entered a store and on the way out there was another 1yen coin near the cash register - decided not to take it since there were too many people around it. Only a few minutes later there was a shiny 10yen coin in another vending machine.

I've noticed the same phenomenon before - somehow at times I get into the right state and the coins just start flowing to me. I would very much like to know how to consciously get into that state For now I see two ways that however are not as reliable as I would like:
-wait for the inspiration to come and act on it
-constantly keep an intention in your mind until you get in the right state.
Here I create an affirmation and mentally repeat in constantly. I am getting better at staying unattached while I repeat my affirmations. This means that I am able to control my mind and it's tendency to oppose the positive thought. I try to remain in positive expectation of the manifestation of my desire.

It's enough for a nice lunch but I won't be spending it for now. In one of his talks Wayne Dyer says he has a secret jar (if I am not mistaken) with coins and bills that he found on the street. He says it's "substantial sum" but he never spends any of it because it reminds him of the goodness of the universe (again quoting from memory)

Great to see your coins are starting to stack up.... soon you'll be a rich man! And even though I say that with a touch of humor, I DO think you could make some big money this way. To give you a short story from a Stu Wilde book about him manifesting money. He said that when he began to visualize money coming to him, he would do this once a day, for a short time, I would guess 15 min. or so and he did indeed find small change all over the place, then the money began to come to him in strange ways, once he said he was standing on a street corner and a taxi drove by very quickly and a woman in the back seat, for some unknown reason, threw her pocketbook out the taxi window and it hit him right in the chest...lol. The taxi kept on going and never stopped. As it turns out there was some big bills in the wallet in the pocketbook but there was also the woman's ID so he returned it with all the money. He said for a long while he would find only small cash here and there and was about to give up, then he said, almost by magic, in the business he owned someone he didn't know just dropped $10,000 in his lap, through a business deal. He said he was sure this money came to him because of his visualizing, even though it was through a regular business deal, so he said, if you expect large sums to come to you.... it will probably come to you in "normal" ways.

[The Changing Ways]

It is all about where you focus is. If you want to "manifest" coins, your mind will look for coins and you will find them, because they are everywhere anyways. You just do not see them because you are not looking for them. I have found coins before and I was not even looking for them - it is just that because I have OCD I tend to look carefully if I forgot something (in the room, on train, etc) and therefore I sometimes find coins, paper money, etc. People really lose a lot of things

I intend to make a post on my blog soon about Law of Attaction (because I have a different view on LOA than the "official" view is, like presented in The Secret)... I am pretty sure that is why I found this thread anyways - because I have this topic (manifestation, LOA...) on my mind right now. If I didnt intend to write an article about it, I might not even click on this thread when reading this forum.
