Default How to Focus on what you want?

Is their such thing as unconscious focus because I can't seem to get my focus off certain things. What are the best techniques to focus on what you want?

Just decide what you want and don't worry that you don't know how to focus on it.

Keep thinking on what you want when you feel good and are in happy mood. This is focus.

Focus is just state of mind where you just think about only one thing and not allow others thoughts to disturb your situation.

Do you understand this??

Yes I get where your coming from. How can I focus on something inside my head without expressing it externally?

Don't focus on what you don't want.

Sometimes you just have to hammer what you want into your mind and make yourself think about it. Eventually it will come naturally. Sitting relaxed and using your imagination works wonders for me.

Well, Focus is all about to go within yourself. You can't depend on external, i don't know about it. But it will be more difficult for you. If you want to sharpen your focus then go within, do deep thinking, stop your mind for a while, go for a walk and try to be more calm as you can.

You find it boring when you do too much force on yourself. May be you lose your control over your mind.

I would say that if you cannot focus on something you want, then it could be because you do not actually want it that badly.

It is pretty tough to focus on something when you really don't like to focus on it. It may help to think of the overall goal, picture it in your mind, set up some attainable sub goals and go from there.
