Hi there to all, this is my first time I m writing something under this section. Actually I am very excited to know that someone can read my dream and will tell me what does it mean? It was said that dream is another reality. Here I go, I rarely gets dreams. but whenever I dream, I always saw some kind of animal (tiger, lion, leopard)attacking me and I m running of my ass. Again I hides in the house and that animal still chases me, i mean he is not going away...he really wants to kill me and eat me...and that animal breaks the door or anyhow it enters into the house where i was hiding. Lastly it attacks me on my face and I wake up....I am really scared at that time. I really don't understand that how I get only this kind of dreams always, only animal is changing keeping the pattern same. I really don't know what to do? If possible can anyone from here read the dream for me or will tell me what it specifically meant? Thanks and Regards. |

Hello jaideepv1234. It sounds like the classic example of fear. A dream specialist once told me. We substitute our fears for something we are unable to view. There was someone who was afraid of her husband and would dream of a rat. In American culture rats are not liked. (I say this as in India there seems to be more respect certain animals like the rat). She remembered calling him a rat and so dreamed of a giant rat attacking her. This may not be the case for you. But it does sound like you are afraid of something so it is released in your dream as you are unable to envision and stand up to it in real life. It may be a person. It actually may be something you are afraid will happen as it continually follows you wherever you go. You seem really afraid of it as you are hiding within your dream. Is there someone you need to face? (As you are afraid to face it. In your words, "it attacks me on my face"). It's so scary you wake up in order not to deal with it. I believe once you figure it out, you will be less scared and more confident. You are brave just for asking for help on this open forum! You will be fine. Let us know how things go. Take care, Dream Last edited by dream; 12-07-2010 at 06:09 AM. |

I would say the animal represents a side of yourself which is very angry, really furious and it really is 'in your face.' It is there but you don't seem to want to face it and you are running away from it. You need to find what it is you are angry about and deal with it full on. Jung would say that only you can really uncover this dream because only you can understand your own symbolism. Universal symbolism regarding these animals is straightforward, they may be exotic to you too. Also, remember if the animals are changing in the dreams it may be a series of fears which you haven't dealt with.
