New to manifesting...
One of my jobs is a dishwasher for the local university. I like it because it gives me time to juggle around silly questions in my head and listen to cool music while I work. At work today I was philosophizing with myself when the thought of manifestation came up. After some theory tossing with myself about it legitimacy I decided to do an experiment. My first experiment was to grab and unknown number of buffet trays from a large pile and visualize it filling up a rack perfectly. That would mean one tray for every row on the rack (i still don't know how many rows it has). As I did this I thought as if I had just counted and knew that the trays would all fit. AND THEY DID! I did it a second time with superb results. Third try I got distracted by a REALLY good song and abandoned the experiment for music. haha. I then tried other experiments by putting an unknown number of plates or bowls into the sink and they seeing if they too filled up the rack. All of them did!
I'm new to the ideas of manifestation (I saw The Secret but didn't GET it at the time) and I'm wondering if it really applied to something like loading a dishwasher rack, or if this is just coincidence and I'm psyching myself up. Is it just for your serious intentions or can it be applied to silly probability games as well?
