Default How I manifested somebody into my life - first experience of LOA

Just thought I'd share this - years ago, I was reading this book "the Mists of Avalon" and, having a very shaky sense of identity in my twenties, I pretended I was one of the characters from the book for a while, a princess, Igraine ( plus I'm a wet double Pisces lol )
And I imagined that I met a man like the one in the book, just for fun and it made me feel good

And suddenly one day I really did manifest him in in real life, without even trying - out of the blue I did meet somebody who was smitten instantly and so was I with him

I'm sure it was because I was thinking about that book and imagining it though at that time I did not know about the law of attraction

Also, when I've been broke I've often found money - the wildest time was when, I was really broke with no money and suddenly a car stopped, it was an ex-boyfriend with a friend of his who was moving to France, so getting rid of all his old English money and he just handed it over to me!

LOA really does work, I have no doubt about that!

Then, when I wrote this I wondered if other people had suddenly stumbled upon it or what was their first experience - just curious

Nice LOA story

I was thinking about all my manifestations up to this point in my life, as I have just begun reading "Think and Grow Rich" and talks a lot about the priciple of LOA, desire and faith. And so I went back over all the things I had forgotten about that I think are quite amazing to manifest.

Would you believe all the places that I have wanted to work at and really spent the time concentrating at, I have worked at. I was thinking actually of one of the places I work now, and when I was much younger, had this burning desire to work there, but never felt confident that I would be able to write a CV that would be adequate enough. I thought about it a lot though, but never actually did anything about it. At that stage I knew nothing about LOA, it was just a burning desire and it was always in the back of my mind, over the years.

As it turned out, with no real work at my end, apart from my desire to work there, I got offered a job, without needing any interviews, or resumes.

In fact all the jobs that I have really desired to work at, have not required me to go through the normal route.

I also had a burning desire, to hardly work - lol! I wanted to make enough money, but hardly work in a typical job. As it turns out I usually work 15 hours a week, and make enough, for what would be a full-time wage

I've manifested a car...not new, but it was free and it was the make and colour, just not the model or year

On a whim I resigned from a job in an instance without thought (just to play the game and see what would happen), with nothing to go on to...and it turned out fine. In fact I got extra work on top of it.

I think there really is something to thinking about things, and keeping them in the back of your mind, I tend to forget and just tend to go back into that coincidence thing, but really it's just not the case for me. The mind is certainly powerful.

The thing I am struggling with the most is, money...I never seem to manifest the amounts that I want...but I know that's because I got issues to work on in that area, so as to stop the blockage. It's so frustrating though, because like a puzzle, where I am missing a few pieces, and those pieces certainly can't be found easily.

Haha, awesome, that's my favorite book ever! I like your manifestation story. I used to pretend I was Morgaine. I'm not sure if I ever attracted any of her life events though. Maybe that's for the best, I don't need any Lancelets or Gwenhwyfars!

LoA has always (most notably) helped me out in social situations. It has helped me out a TON as far as money goes, but I haven't had any miraculous money show up, so I can always attribute my monetary success to hard work.

I can't think of the very first time I successfully manifested, but I do remember doing some LoA tests to see if I could meet people in public places. For example, I'd set the intention to meet someone I hadn't seen for a long time. Usually, these were people that I'd be very unlikely to meet ever again. I'd set the intention and forget about it, and then I would meet the person, in really random locations. I wouldn't attribute it to the LoA, until I would remember my intention. I did that quite a few times, and I got results every time.

Although I'd much rather be able to manifest a car stopping and handing me money.

So you were very much one to go against the Igraine? Sorry, couldn't resist

I spent a good chunk of my childhood dreaming of being one of Darth Vader's wingmen, and that dream slowly morphed into a 'back burnered' wish to meet Dave Prowse, the actor who played him. In 1996, or thereabouts, on to the TV pops an ad for a SF convention at a nearby hotel, and DP was to be one of the guests. On top of that, on the day I attended, my sis, bless her, practically forced this Mr. Introvert to go back a second time with a camera and ask for a photo with him, which he graciously permitted after the nearly-complete autograph signing period was over.

I don't recall ever seeing another ad for a Dave Prowse appearance, certainly not for one within the mere 1 or 2 miles I drove to get to it (I have phobias for big cities and extensive highway driving, at least one of which would normally have been in play for any SF convention visit). I'd guess this is about as dramatic a case of unwitting IM/LoA I've ever had in my life (which jibes with the whole positive but detached approach that seems per consensus to work best)
