How does the thought to manifestation happen? To elaborate 1 Thoughts/Affirmations/Believes travel from our minds to universe? 2 The universe arranges intention to manifest while facilitating everything else in the world. How? Last edited by bloodworksinc; 11-21-2010 at 04:33 AM. |

There are many right answers to your question. And the reason why there are many right answers to your question is that there are many right descriptions of the universe. However all descriptions are incomplete. Therefore all the answers are incomplete as well. It's all just like maps and territories, you see? Yo can make different maps of the same territory ... And all of them are correct ... but the territory just is. |

Reality is a hyper-real dream world, that has been focused into existence by consciousness. Thus, all energy is really consciousness. Everything is connected through the medium of consciousness. This includes the past, present, and future. All potential rendezvous points, between all points of consciousness, already exist in the continuum of consciousness. A focus that is unencumbered by contradictory foci (such as opposing beliefs or thoughts) can reflexively organize events, and all cooperative components of that intent backwards through time, effectively "fixing" potential outcomes, provided there is vibrational alignment with that particular focus and not some other focus.

Anagogy, enjoyed that post. My understanding would be that everything including thought is vibration and this goes out into the universe as energy which gets picked up rearranged and mirrored back into a manifestation of the essense of that thought. Because there are so many contradictory vibrational signals this may account for the chaos we think we see in our lives. My question is this, is there some divine plan for our lives so that we think we are making decisions and using our personal power but actually we are not. It is all mapped out and even the knowledge about the law of attraction is in there. Or, do we have a considerable amount of scope and freedom to create and there is no blueprint or formular already in existence? |

Sometimes I feel like we view manifestation the same way most people view God. The ego can be jealous, loving, angry, sad etc. and so many people have this egoic image of God being a jealous God, angry God etc. So God in their minds is a cosmic representation of the egoic self. Since consciousness cannot be labeled, you cannot have an image in your mind of what it looks like but you can have an image of a giant white bearded man sitting on a cloud judging people or loving them depending on his mood lol. I think we have made the same mistake with intention/manifestation. Since the ego believes in effort, competition, and that the act of thinking gets us somewhere, we believe that manifestation takes effort too. We view manifestation with our limited egoic mind. If you read The Intention Experiment by Lynne McTaggart, you'll see that intention masters manifest without effort or by trying to will something into existence. They first enter the realm of no mind, of infinite possibilities and then introduce an intention in that gap between thoughts. When I read Gregg Braden's book the Isaiah Effect, he mentioned the same thing concerning a native american friend of his who "prayed rain". There was no effort, just pure intention in that "no mind" state. Desire, excitement and effort are all from the ego and you might eventually get what you want with force but I think there's better way which I'm experimenting with which simply involves manifesting through your true self which is consciousness, not the egoic self. |

Mike Dooley's new book "Manifesting Change: It Couldn't Be Easier" explains it in a way that just makes SO much sense to me. Basically, you decide what you want to manifest, in other words where you want to end up. Then, you just show up and act as if you already ARE where you want to be and the Universe will essentially work backwards from where you want to be to where you are, and fill in the How's for you.

So the bottom line is: if you can desire it, the universe can produce it if you come into full and pure alignment with it.

On a Lark and Snowflake. Please tell us more about these ways of manifesting. I find it amusing that we have spent so much time analyzing intention manifestation, using techniques and mantras when it may have been pointless. I agree, it is almost as if the EGO needs it to be complex and difficult to do. I really really want to believe it is very simple. Then the question is can we really create and manifest as the Secret has suggested or is it unfortunately for us a natural process which we do not have much control over..??? Although, I do feel more optimistic after reading Anagogy's post that we can become purely and fully aligned to the universe we can have our desires. This immediately, creates in my mind a feeling that it could be very hard. x |

Sorry, have been away for a few days! Here's my example: Living in NC, away from family and friends, and after 4 years we decided we wanted to move back home to PA. It was just at this time that I had read Joe Vitale's "Attractor Factor" and he recommends using vision boards and affirmations, which is really just choosing where you want to end up as Mike Dooley puts it. We made a vision board with a the name and pictures of the town in PA where we wanted to live, the kind of house we'd have, and the kind of business we wanted to own. So that was our end point, living in this particular town with this particular kind of business. We then just went about our day to day lives but started investigating how much land/home prices were in this area, how the cost of living compared to where we currently were, etc. In the course of this Google search I came upon a listing for the EXACT kind of business we had wanted to buy in the exact town. It was truly unbelievable, and I had one of those moments where when I saw the pic of the business I just knew it was ours. The only hold up of course was that we did not have the $$ to buy this 1MM+ business. So we contacted the owners of the business, met with them to tour it, and asked if they could help with financing. They could not, but they really liked us and were hopeful we could pull everything together. We started talking to everyone we knew, explaining the situation and asking if they'd like to invest with us. Through a relative we got put in touch with a banker who helped us with an SBA loan, and the rest is history. We live in this town with this very successful business, and we got here via channels that we didn't even know existed. SO...did we take action? Yes, but none of it was really work (except the swallowing your pride part to ask people for money!). But we had put together a solid business plan, so that was action too. It all really did feel inspired and "meant to be". I think you choose where you want to end up and ask the Universe to fill in the hows and whens. Let me know if you need more details on anything. |

It's extremely hard to understand the process under normal consciousness. Think of the most bizzare chain of events you possibly can. According to most mystics we are the reality that we percieve. We are all connected in one continuous field of energy just changing form. I don't understand it but I think it happens like this. When we intend or believe something, the subatomic particles change vibration, which changes atoms and ultimately the whole field of energy changes. This may result in the universe causing someone else to stumble upon something which may trigger an event where your desire can manifest. It can happen mind to mind or mind to environment. Ultimately, it's the same thing. Just energy fluxuations. I may try to sound like an expert on this but I'm not at all an expert. It's beyond human comprehension. |
