---Fabulous. I know a lot about LOA and am a believer. I must add that I am a happy person in general. And it counts most (almost all) days. I am thankful. I have this habit to smile, wink and blow a kiss toward Universe every time I am happy. Sounds quirky? Not to me However, I was a lazy bum when it came to meditation. The other day I just "felt" like meditating and visualising my ideal situation while at it. Please note that I had never meditated before this day. Anyway, so back to my meditation. I wanted to ask something related to my writing. I have recently started out and am very much in tune with it, but I want more, like any human Guess what? Today morning I wake up and read my email in my jammies before kick-starting my work. I see I have loads of emails, somehow all of them directing to my blog. And there is an email from another blogger. It so happens that my post is featured on WordPress' Freshly Pressed (a selection of handful best blog-posts of tens of thousands everyday). Woo hoo. And it is the same post I guest-posted on his blog. So, even he reaps the benefits! How cool is that? Now, the chances of this happening are rare...very rare. And that too in such immediacy of my meditation-visualisation? It has a lot to do with the little ritual. Today I had tons of clicks on my blog, hundreds of comments on my guest-post and several new subscribers. -BrownEyed |

Brown Eyed Mystic, What great results!! Congrats on your successful attraction! I am convinced that meditation is the main key to attracting what we want. Do you have any special meditation techniques, or is it just pure visualization? |

Thank You. And I agree (now that I've tried it) that meditation is the gateway. I am not comfortable with breath meditation for some reason. So when I sat down to meditate, I didn't have any basic meditation techniques for beginner's in my mind. What I did was this: I sat down in a lotus position, closed my eyes, and just focused on the words like "Writing Better", "Writing Best", "More Readers on Blog" etc. Next, while visualising each situation that would come out of these words, I let the feelings rush through my body--something like how you feel when you jump up and down and say "Wow am happy that . . . " That sort of electric charge (for the lack of a better term). All this while I also envisioned myself wrapped up in white light intermittently. I believe this was it. Once I had done 2-3 rounds of focusing on each such positive word, I opened my eyes and thanked the Universe with a smile Hope this helps -BrownEyed | |

LOL. To be honest, I just did. I mean, I had a supporting partner and I had a window of opportunity when I switched countries. At that time, either I could go back and hunt a job in software or I could give writing a start. I chose the later. I started looking for jobs on the Internet and some better-known freelance websites. However, it was a lot of separating the wheat from the chaff--many jobs don't pay well so you have to know where to apply. I built contacts this way, and kept going. In hindsight, I haven't gone out of the way to get gigs and get paid. It has been fairly smooth trail. I can tell you one thing: I kept my positivity on a high and my passion for writing was always there. Passion or your love for anything counts. You automatically feel well-aligned. Plus I did slip into unmonitored visualisations So that's how -BrownEyed | |

I didn't specifically let it go as in not think about it at all. I mean, I am normally thinking about my writing assignments and what I could do to make them better. So technically, nope I didn't let it go or forbid myself to think about it in general. It means I didn't keep thinking specifically "More Readers" w.r.t my blog, but in general had thoughts of being a more successful professional writer. I was also on an all-time high as far as positivity is concerned. -BrownEyed | |

Hi Brown Eyed Mystic! Congratulations on such wonderful progress and success! That smile & a wink & a kiss to the Universe certainly doesn't hurt, does it! Seriously, I am so pleased for you - your "feeling" is truly in harmony with results - and that is a huge part of it too. I love meditating, and part of my ritual is similar to yours, with certain words that are in tune w/ what I'm looking to accomplish. In fact, after a few days of this practice, it really does, indeed, seem to "sink into" my very being so that the affirmation/desire has BECOME part of what I am - and therefore - what I truly do expect to come about. Please keep informing us about your progress. It is quite inspiring. In fact, count me among another visitor to your blog, since I'm on my way over to it right now. Hugs, Kath |

Congrats to you. Happy to see that you got result. If you are struggling with meditation sometimes. Then do this: Lure your mind, divert mind and suggest it to focus back on meditation. Now a days i am doing this. It is fun. | |

Nice! I think I'm going to start doing a bit of meditation everyday as well. I have some big things coming up, so I'll need any help I can get! On a side note, I really liked that blog post. It's so funny when people ask me what I do. Not only do I freelance write, but I write SEO articles, and 99% of normal people don't know what the hell an SEO article is. I got tired of explaining, so now when people ask me what I do with my life now that I'm not in school, I just say "Nothing!" |

Definitely go ahead. It is something everyone should at least try. Thank you. LOL I know your plight. SEO is fast gaining pace, however it remains alien to the common public. Yet, that is. Good luck with the upcoming big things. -BrownEyed Quote:
