Default How do you focus on your intention?

Actually here's some better questions, how do you not focus on your intention?
Do you do something else? Do you think about it even once after you make it? Or do you just believe it will happen?

Think of your mind as a laser that has to burn through ice in order to attain what you desire.

I wish it was as easy as totally forgetting about it. It can work in some cases, but in order to be real effective in my experience, I've always put a lot of focus into my image in mind.

It's great because you can sit down at work or school and just fantasize about what your manifesting. And feel so good because you know that what you want is yours. You need to keep it in mind. Get rid of all doubts you may have, because they're all lies. Just aspects of your old self that didn't have that which you are manifesting.

Personally, I think and feel my vision as much as possible. I hammer it out and then it literally begins to shift reality in front of me. I start to hear references and see things about my desire almost immediately if I am really feeling it.

This manifesting thing is an art. It takes practice but I'm finding it easy now

Excellent idea. Maybe it will work for me.

Your desire must be strong and clear and followed by a sustained vision with precise, unshifting details, perfect in your mind, that make you feel good. I find that if I can't come to an agreement about the details, what I want isn't clear and doesn't manifest. It's during those times that I keep having to return to the intention. However, when my details are clear, I experience a certainty about it and don't find it necessary to keep returning to the vision. Those are the easy manifestations. My suggestion would be just to make sure you know what you want. Only envision the amount of detail that makes you feel happy, as often as it makes you feel happy, but make sure it's what you want.

Yea absolutely, sometimes it just takes an analogy, but after you get it, it's an incredible feeling.

Think about what it's gonna be like in 10 years after we've been at this awhile... Masters of our own universe

Having intentions is one thing. Making them become a physical reality is another.

The universe responds to the paradigms that have formed in your subconscious mind. If you want to change the results you're currently getting -- to manifest your intentions -- you must change the paradigms that are holding you back.

By creating goals and intentions, you're fantasizing about what's possible. However, to attain it, you must, often, improve yourself and create the picture of what you want in your mind so that it can manifest accordingly.

The way to create an intention in the physical world is to imagine living it through quite often. Just think, your current results and your current self-image have taken a lifetime to build. If you sit down for 5-10 minutes, 3 times a day, everyday focusing and imagining yourself living your dreams and your intentions coming true, the more repeated this image is made in the conscious mind, the more this image will sink down into the subconscious mind to form a new paradigm. Over constant repetition, this new paradigm can become the dominant one and you'll begin "attracting" people, events, and objects into your life that are in alignment with your intentions.

It should be noted, though, that simply thinking of your intention coming true is never enough. You must take appropriate action in order for it to manifest. So once you've thought of a dream or vision, repeat the image of it coming true in your mind for some time, but also take conscious action to move yourself in the direction of that vision.

Or...

Since I can remember this is my most reliable way of manifesting: Ask. Receive. Even the "believe" part gets in my way. One of my favorite examples: I told a friend I wanted a new iPod. The battery in my current one was useless. I forgot about it. The next day there was a new iPod in the mail from a friend who had one extra.

For me, the less I think about what I want the better. Taking an action isn't necessary for me either. I've noticed when I've believed that was necessary I may still get the manifestation but the process has slowed considerably & the slower the process, the more I fret.

Thankfully things manifest even when I'm in a crappy mood. That was a relief because keeping a high energy joyous state was plain exhausting to me. Believing that absolutely everything is created by my conscious has changed everything for me. It's very empowering.

IMO - how all of this works is uniquely tailored for each of us. There's lots of great advice & love on this forum (and so many others) but if someone's method isn't working for you, don't beat yourself up or work harder to make it work for you - maybe there's a different method.

Along with visualizing and speaking to myself in the mirror about my new life, I set time every morning when I wake up and every night before I go to sleep to speak my intentions.

Like previous posters have said, there have been many times when an intention I've stated has manifested that it doesn't occur to me that I stated that intention a few hours to a couple of days later.

It seems that if you don't think about your intention after you send it out and wind up "forgetting" about it, you're not interfering in the process by overthinking it, and thus it comes into fruition quicker.

It's funny how a Universal Law can be so individual in that what may work for one person may not work for another.
