Hi SunnyDays, Thanks for posting. I'm going to listen to this later -- looks like it's a whole teleseminar, so I'll download it and put it on my iPod for my next walk. [continued after a bit of Googling...] Just in case someone else wonders -- the audio is 50 minutes, according to Joyce's website Language Of Attraction which is a very interesting site that I wouldn't have found without your helpful post...and I'm so glad I did. Thanks!!! |

Thanks for the link, SunnyDays I enjoyed listening to the mp3, Joyce's story is really interesting. However, I wasn't sure if her line would work for me... The night after I woke up at 3 am and couldn't fall asleep again. I know from experience that I would not go back to sleep if I start fussing about it or telling myself that I had to. But reading a book or listening to music to become tired wasn't such a great idea either. So I remembered the eight words and said to myself: "I know how to go back to sleep and I do it." I was wondering how to measure the time it would take if it actually worked... I would say it took about ten minutes  I will definitely do this more often, the subconscious really doesn't miss a word.

It was a quick call and just before we get off the phone she is looking at her movie channels to find something random to watch and suddenly blurts out that there's a 1/2 hour show on HBO called, "I can't do this, but I CAN DO THAT: A documentary about families dealing with learning disabilities." HBO I shouted 'What?! That sounds like the audio lecture I was just telling you about, even with the part about 'I CAN..."...whaaaaa???? Wow, crazy head-spinning reflection....
