I was at group therapy today and we were doing affirmations on one another. The person who did affirmations on me said I was ambitious. She said I had this desire to help make this world a better place. I don't know how she figured this out, I never mentioned it to the group. Maybe she was reading in between the lines of what I've been saying. I took it as a compliment.

Now when I came home I was thinking about something. I was thinking about this compliment. My gut said being ambitious is tied to ego. So I looked it up on yahoo answers and some posted that it's bad.

Do you guys think it's good or bad and how does the law of attraction tie into this. Would I be successful in using the law of attraction even though I'm ambitiouis?

There's no way in hell that being ambitious is a bad thing, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Being ambitious is a good thing, as long as you don't take it too extremes, or trample over too many people to get to your goal.

being ambitious means you have a goal in life, a focus and confidence. It's good as long as you're not hurting anyone just to reach that dream/goal.

what's the law of attraction?

I don't know, usually I would assume it has something to do with relationships, but there's a forum for that on this site and this thread is not there.

So I'm a little baffled.

Ambition is a great quality to have, as long as it's balanced with other characteristics, such as compassion and empathy. I mean, achieving your goals at all costs will not make you a lot of friends....

Ambition to make the world a better place... good. Ambition to destroy a few small businesses so you can open up your megastore and pay your employees minimum wage... not so good.
