What are you talking about...?
Making it one step closer to real.
I thought i'd see what everyone's talking about, is it your intentions...? As your out and about, bee-boppin' through your day, and someone asks you how it's going...? What's your responce... Is it your intention...? You're already thinking about it, you're intending it, maybe your listening to your recorded intention, but are you talking about it...? If so how often...?
Perhaps some of the more experienced can share their views / thoughts on this...?

One: talking positively vs. negatively is important---If my intention reflects a positive outlook/hope/intention in life or some aspect of life, and what comes out of my mouth is negative....well you get the picture..I'm creating and attracting negativity for those that hear me as well as for myself and my intentions.
Two: a lot has been said about being careful not to "spout out" the content of specific intentions indiscriminately, or maybe too much at all.
One reason for this is that we can get negative responses from people which can undermine our flow (e.g., "what???? you think that'll work????...ahh...you'll never do that... it's impossible....that'll never happen....I tried that and never got it off the ground....why don't you just keep your job at least you have one....etc. etc. etc)
Another reason talked about is that we might get immediate positive feedback from ourselves (it feels good to talk abt our dreams) or from others (those that aren't inclined to be negative) and that positive feedback could conceivably feel like it's "enough" for us...so instead of practicing my guitar or writing a song, I just talk to others about what I want to do in music--it's a lot easier but I don't actually know any more songs any better(!!)
Maybe the composite of these two perspectives would lead us to generally hold the actual content of our intentions inside while they are cooking, while spreading the positive impact of that cooking all around, including inside ourselves. And of course balance is critical...and sharing our intentions with care is important too, from my pespective...
I think this is a great topic and the above is just one point of view or collection thereof. I hope we hear more response and thinking about it, great topic!

I like the idea of thinking in a positive, forward momentum manner, as well as speaking, and acting as such.
It is very important to pick and choose, thoughtfully, people, to whom you will reveal your intentions/plans/goals etc...
I used to have a lot of difficulty in life w/just about everything. But, then, one day, as if by design, I overheard a person talking to another person, very negativly about me. I was blown away, to say the least. The person, who was doing the talking, was a person I had previously held in complete confidence. We shared everything. I trusted this person in everyway. I thought we held the same values, and beliefs. We had such great laughs together. It was devastating, emotionally. But when I thought about it. All the years spent with this person (this person being the only one I had not had a negative relationship with, I thought). It seemed like everyone else hated me, and I could never figure out why? The one common denominater between me and everyone else, had always been this person. In fact, the person she was speaking with, was a person that I had always had major difficulty with. Based on what she was telling this person, I can now, see why.
Needless to say, I simply quit calling this person, and sharing with her anything I used to. I didn't have it out with her, or anything like that. I just (left her out of my loop). I found that any people that was connected to me and her, in some way, had already been contaminated, for the most part, so I basically limited all news of me, from being privvy, to any of them. It was lonely for wahile, but as I went through my life, I gradually met new people. It was amazing to me, to experience the big difference in these relationshops. Thses new people react to me completely differently than what I was accustomed. This does not mean that I repeat the mistake of confiding randomely to all new people. I've learned to guard myself better.
What I'm saying is this. Negative people will do more than just THINK, negativly. They will, quite actively, sabotage your plans, reveal your secrets, and campagne against you, while you are not aware.
Getting genuinely nice people into my life made a huge difference. It's not even that we have to agree on everything, or hold all the same beliefs. But these people can be safe with me, and I with them.
So, if you are having difficulty overcoming much negativity in your life, check out, beides yourself, all the other people, who are active participants in your life, and make the very neccesary adjustments.
