I would LOVE to hear your stories about Law of Attraction

Hi Everyone! I am new to this forum - it looks fantastic and I really want to introduce myself and tell you all about something i'm visualising right now! Here goes...

I’m putting together a book about how ordinary people have made extraordinary changes to their lives by embracing the law of attraction. I’m asking for people to email me their stories, however big or small, of how the ‘Law of Attraction’ has positively impacted their life and others around them. Proceeds from the book will be donated to charity.

I have set up a site which explains in more detail what I am trying to do:

What do you think? A fun idea?

So far people have emailed me some great stories – always scoring parking spaces, lottery wins, property deals, meeting business partners, meeting their soulmate and lots more.

I would love to hear from you with your own story. It’s a great cause and I’d love to help spread the word about how positive thought can improve all our lives, whilst at the same time raising a fair bit for charity!

Story of my glasses goes like this:
I drove my car to work and I felt frustrated about my bad eyesight. I used to wear glasses, but I stopped using them when I entered college because I thought they were 'uncool'. I had become used to not wearing them, but now the frustration about not being able to read the road signs had become big enough to really want glasses again.

The thought of getting new glasses was discouraging though. I'm not good at organizing things. I'm an INTP and I have ADD. To get new glasses I would have to go to an optometrist for an eye test. I didn't know where one lived, so I would have to look it up, make an appointment, and probably take a half-day off from work for the consultation. Then I would have to find a good shop where they sell glasses, and go through the difficult process of choosing glasses.

I was learning about the law of attraction at that time. I decided to give it a try and not to think about all unpleasant stuff. Instead I imagined how great it would be to see sharp again. I imagined driving and being able to read all the signs easily. That was a very pleasant thought.

I decided not to take any action unless I felt inspired to take action. Just like it is recommended in the Abraham Hicks teachings.

One Saturday I walked though my city and I passed a store where they sell glasses. There was a sign about a promotion. You could buy a pair of glasses for only 100 EUR. Plus a free eye test.

The next week I entered the store. I was helped by a very kind woman. She took an eye test and she helped me to choose a pair of glasses that looked really good on me.

Now I have glasses and everybody likes them, including me :-)

It's simple really. This doesn't look like a miracle and a skeptic person could label this story to be a combination coincidence and selective perception. I could agree with that. But the thing is that when I am applying the law of attraction that all these 'coincidences' seem to happen a lot more than when I don't.

I find that when I am applying the law of attraction, that a lot of little things turn out to be in my advantage. All these little fun moments make up for a great life experience.

Thank you so much for that Dolazy!! What a great story!! And your final statement is so true - the coincedences seem to happen a whole lot more.

Can I ask you what INTP means? Sorry, i'm probably dumb!

Way back when I was first committed to Steve's Million Dollar Experiment, I kept finding loads of spare change just lying around. So I totalled 9 dollars in spare change. Then I stop committing to the experiment and I had no more spare change. Usually I don't find spare change much, so finding 9 dollars worth of it over a few days is pretty surprising in my books.

Not everybody here learned of the Law of attraction through the secret.

I would be happy to tell you my story when it manifests, but I learned about the Law of Attraction months before I had heard of the Secret.

Sorry - I didn't mean to offend anybody - obviously the fairly recent release of 'The Secret' is just a re-packaged version of the law of attraction which people have been talking about for centuries.

I tend to call the LOA 'The Secret' automatically, without actually meaning the book/dvd by Rhonda Byrne...the reason being that for me, the LOA is the secret to life. I only wish I had been taught it at school.

I would love to hear your stories of intention-manifestation/LOA. And again, I didn't intend to offend anyone. I understand that to the vast majority of this forum 'The Secret' book/dvd is nothing new to you.

Just generally - not just as a result of watching The Secret. Just general stories about ordinary people making extraordinary changes to their lives by living through the law of attraction. Your intention sounds exciting! Good luck with it (not that you need luck!)
