Default Detachment/Desperation/Disinterest

Detachment is not disinterest. You can be very determined and at the same time not attached to an outcome. A desparate attachment is when you must have a result or else!! and that affects the outcome. It's like you're strangling the flow.

A determined person will be attached to the outcome, but in a good way. They know that focus and positive thoughts will win they day. They never say "I need this or I'll die!" They say "this didn't work, but I'll keep going, it's what I want and I'll find a way" the latter will always win, it's called determination without being attached or desperate.

Desperation and attachment create unbalance and that is not what you're about. Be focused, be determined and know your effort will prevail, but don't be desperate.

PS But what if you are desperate and things are really bad??

Firstly don't panic! Unless you're in a life threatening situation, it's not truly that bad. It's about attitude when things go wrong badly. Know that it won't last, that you can affect the outcome, there is always a way out, just relax and ask to be shown the door, the answer will present itself.

this is good insight, i was just wondering this myself.


Is focusing on your intention everyday and meditating it daily going to bring your desires quicker or is it better to just release your desires once and just let it come.

People say in order to manifest somthing , you gotta keep focus and meditate your manifestations but does that really speed up the process , if you keep thinking about, it becomes a source of attachment, doesnt it?

I am no expert that's for sure, but I think it's more about fundamental beliefs than frequency of thought and emotion.

Your fundamental beliefs are the very basic laws/code/instructions that build your program/reality.

To get a massive change in reality, you have to change the fundamental beliefs. All the happy thoughts and constant focusing won't work if your fundamental beliefs state otherwise.

Core beliefs rule your reality.

Interesting thread! I have found as well from experience that the basic deep down beliefs help me when I encounter 'unsure' periods. Basically I have to keep reminding myself to stop fretting but to trust my gut instinct and intuition. It has been bang on so far so I'm quite the 'believer' in that regard haha. Let go and it will happen perfectly (hey it might be in another physical form, but it appears all the same ) Also I 'know' that I will always have enough financials and don't need to worry about it, so I don't, and I never have. I do think however that one's ego might think it needs something and it doesn't manifest, that's always interesting because something else will happen. then you look back later and go.... oh yeah! That makes sense now t it happened differently and I can see it worked out well all the same. And yes your deep down beliefs are very important...
