Smile Helping hand needed!

Hey all! I want ur advices and thoughts regarding a problem. Ok, am a 20 year old student. Am goin thru a rough patch in life right now. I don wanna crib about wat r all wrong in my life cuz i kno dey'l all eventually fade away. I have been using loa for more dan a year now and i hav had wonderful experiences wit manifestation process. My prob is, lately, wenever i feel great and happy, something very negative happens to me. Wen i wake up in the morning wit a smile and feelings of gratitude, something bad happens, like i get physically hurt immediately or bump into something very small yet get injured etc. This has been happenin everyday and am sure it is no case of coincidence. My health has been poor for d last 3 months, medication is not doin much help. I tried meditation, and feeling good about health. But exactly wen i feel grateful for gud health, or i feel totally relaxed, my health fails even more. Wenever i anticipate something great wit absolute certainty and joy, something grave happns to me! Wats happenin to me? To me, all this seems weird and contradictory to loa. It could b cuz of any mistake on my part. Am willing to adopt any path for positive development of myself. Plz guide me.

PS: Don think am feeling low cuz of it. Am a very happy person. Its juz dat i found my experiences a li'l strange (somtimes i'v really laughed my heart out at dem as wel!), n am sure dis is d place i might find some answers. Am very sure i'l b healthy, wealthy and wise wit all ur support

I just want to say that I have a hard time reading your posts. Your use of slang, abbreviated text spellings and text-speak are getting in the way of the message you are trying to communicate.

It just seems that it might benefit you to consider that, in general, you get back what you put in. In other words - ambiguous, abbreviated outgoings = ambiguous, abbreviated incomings. Do you want everything coming to you to be muddy, unclear and cut short?

I agree with interchangeable.

Skimming your post, I see enough evidence that you do know how to write in proper English--but instead you've chosen to use a mess of slang, intentional misspellings, and chatspeak. Why?

Asking people for help with your problem, while expecting them to wade through a lot of junk language to figure out what you're asking, is obnoxious and inconsiderate. If you want a serious answer to your question (whatever it may be; I didn't bother digging through all the rubbish to figure it out), edit your post and render it in clear, standard English.

Default Sorry

Oh God! I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused. I was really not aware that using abbreviations or chatspeak was not considerate. Kindly pardon my ignorance. I've learnt it now. Thanks for labelling my problem as rubbish. I was surely expecting some help, and even in case you felt irked by my language, I would have felt much better if you could have told that to me in a nicer way because i promise i did not intend to irritate or trouble anyone.

Ok my problem is that even when I intentionally think and feel good, I experience negative outcomes. Please let me know if this post is clear enough.

Thanks

I just noticed that the other posts on the site are all in Standard English, barring only a few abbreviations here and there. So sorry again. Considering that I am new to the forum, and that I have rectified the mistake, I hope Interchangeable forgives me

I feel I did tell you in a straight-forward but considerate manner.

My previous response was actually two-fold. It addressed your writing style and the issue you wrote about.

Pay attention to what you are putting out. This may explain what it is you are getting back. It is no coincidence that you put out muddy messages - which you think and feel are positive - but instead you get back what you consider to be negative reactions.

What you are thinking and feeling is clearly not lined up with what you are actually doing.

I agree with you on this.
For the writing style part, let me inform you that I have been on other forums before where chatspeak was used by all and others have even responded without a problem. So I just continued it here as well. Really did not intend to cause any problem. Each forum has its own ways and I have realized I should have been more clear. So do I get to be forgiven please?

Nothing to forgive my friend.

So, you jump into a new environment and without looking around and figuring out the customs and standard operating procedures, you just do whatever you want. Because you're thinking and feeling on-top-of-the world. Is it any wonder that you stub your toes so often? lol

Remember that teenaged american boy a few years back who was in Singapore and did some petty crime - graffiti on someone's car I believe? - and ended up getting caned for it? There was a big outcry and his parents didn't think it was right or fair but most people thought - Hey. You go to a foreign country and do something you know damn well you shouldn't do without even giving it a second thought. He didn't even care about the consequences enough to actually find out what the consequences would be.

The outcome of your actions is going to be different depending on your environment. A small communication error here can be easily forgiven. Elsewhere? It could get you killed. Know what I mean?

Why not look around a little first? Get an idea of how things work where you are and what is going on and how best to put yourself forward in order to get what you want. Think. Feel. But then act in accordance - in alignment - with what you think and feel.

if you're thinking *them* say *them* not *dem*. If you're thinking *that* say *that* not *dat*. If you're thinking *they'll* say *they'll* not *dey'll*.

This is the message of your life we're talking about here, my friend. Figure out what message you want your life to convey, then convey it. Clearly and concisely and exactly the way you see it in your head and feel it in your heart. If you choose to spend a lot of time conveying yourself in a sloppy manner, you can expect to have a sloppy life. It's your choice.

Using short forms is not a sin or anything. All I have used is short forms, but not abusive or hurting language. You dont have to be so rude. Watch the way you have spoken and you'll know who needs to brush up manners. I did not beg you to help me so you dont have to bother replying here. Your reply is rubbish, obnoxious and inconsiderate. Perhaps you can take a tip or two from 'interchangable' about dealing with new people. This is a personal development site and do not use this space to take out your frustration. Guide if you can, or let it be.

PS: I think using the term 'Standard English' is highly irrelevant in the postcolonial world. Apparently lot of scholars also think the same. Please use right words.

@Interchangeable

I really appreciate your advice but i noticed that in the rules of forum it is only mentioned that the posts should be in English, does not say never ever use short forms! I am still wondering what made you so troubled! Using short forms is very common in many internet forums. And I am pretty sure that I have not sprayed grafitti on anyone here! While some of your words are nice, some sentences could have been more considerate. Anyways, it makes no difference to me because I do not even know any of you really exist.

Even though you feel good, your still concentrating on bad things happening.

The concentration of something is the blueprint, and the emotion is the power to make it happen.

Maybe that's why things seem to happen to you easily. Though it's good energy, if your concentrating on the bad, it could in theory work against you.
