Default Maybe a stupid question

Would atheists start believing in a god if law of attraction has been proven scientifically?

How does LoA have anything to do with 'God'?

Yes, it was a stupid question then.

How do you think atheists would react if loa was proven scientifically?

It's not a stupid question, just not a very logical one. LoA has nothing to do with religion, so it wouldn't matter if the person practicing it was an atheist or anything else.

Would atheists stop existing if someone didn't need non-believers to convert?

The many layers of LOA validity.

It really depends on how you define the word God. That word means many different things to many different people.

They would act the same way if the law of gravity was proven, just another force of nature.

Actually god doesn't have anything to do with religion - IMO.

And I think it is a logical question. Belief in the LOA raises lots of questions regarding the origins of the universe and creation and the role of individual and collective consciousness in all those things.

If not religious questions definitely spiritual questions - and like cylon said - it all depends on your definition of god.

Well personally my belief is that we are all expressions of a collective consciousness … and that is the force behind creation. If you call that consciousness god … well then I would say that learning the LOA was part of the process that brought me to that belief … and thus to a belief in god.

Maybe not the god you are talking about though.

"Would atheists start believing in a god if law of attraction has been proven scientifically?" assumes LoA has anything to do with god. One does not have to be a theist to believe in LoA. One does have to believe that there is an interconnectedness in the universe perhaps, but that's not the same thing. Therefore, the question posed is not logical. We can interpret the gist of it, but that's all.

Umm ... yeah ... you said that already.

And I gave my dissenting opinion.

Shall I say the same thing again too.

Cause we could do that all day ...
