So you would just like to see good results on here, not non results? This thread is called PATHS - POST RESULTS HERE - so I did...... Kind Regards Barb Last edited by Jay Bee; 04-07-2007 at 11:10 PM.

Barb, I am also puzzled by Breeze's attitude. Especially as she has achieved zero results herself and openly posts these (non)results. If I were in her position of having ponied up the money, but got nothing in return, I think I would be very interested in the research and reasons why PATHS does or doesn't work.

Sorry for the rant everyone, but it is just incredibly rude when someone busts into a thread talking about how they are tired of reading peoples' "incredibly long" and "incredibly boring" posts. Sorry if the posts haven't been entertaining enough for you. But from what I can see, no one here is attacking PATHS or talking negatively about it, and everyone here wants it to work. Some may be frustrated, but all discussion has been polite and reasoned. Barb-I feel ya-we can be soulmates! illusions-I think your advice is great, even if one is not using PATHS. The problem is, PATHS cost money, so we have to know at some point if it is working or not. If you're spending money on something, it's hard not to look for results. Grace-I want to be like you when I grow up. I look foward to the day when I can say "Life is Fabulous!" and mean it. I will accomplish that one day, through PATHS or not.

Hey everyone, I posted this on another thread, but it more appropriately belongs here I think. I've wondered if I'll need Paths forever? Will my brain return to producing not enough endorphins and seratonin and all those good feeling hormones and chemicals if I remove myself from the Mood Elevator? Will it result in me struggling and fighting off depression? I did fight it, for years. I used eating healthy and exercise and guarding my thoughts to help keep it at bay. At best, on a scale of 1-10, I was operating at a solid 4. Not bad, eh? At least, I didn't think that was too bad. I was doing pretty good, considering when I was put on Zoloft a few years ago I was probably about a -5. And I got to 4 all by myself! No zoloft. But I decided to give the mood elevator a try. I've been at a solid 8 now for the last few weeks. The last week has been tough and interesting for me. I discovered a lot of WHY I have been struggling. Why I've been combating depression and all that for the last several years. So then I wondered, why now? Why do I all of the sudden remember? Why do I have the insight into myself that I haven't had? I think mentally and physically I'm finally at a place where I can confront these demons. And in facing them, I know now that I am strong enough to exorcise them and not let them have a hold on me. It's not an overnight magic pill. I know that truly freeing myself of all this will take a bit of time. But I can do it! If you had told me a year ago I could do this there's no way I would have believed it. I have the Mood Elevator to thank for helping my body become stronger so that I can continue to grow and clean house (metaphorically) on my body, my emotions, my memories. I am proud of the progress I am making. It's ME that's doing the work. Paths Mood Elevator has just helped me do the work a little more quickly than I could have on my own. I don't believe I'll need the Mood Elevator forever. As I continue to grow and make myself better and better, I believe my body will refine itself and start operating in a more efficient, wholesome way all by itself. I just thank Paths for helping me get to that place a little faster. I cringe when I think about how many years it could have taken me all on my own. The same work is being done - whether on my own or with help - and I am the one doing the work. Just having the helping hand is so encouraging and inspiring. |

Hi, I have been on Paths for almost two weeks now and thought that I'd give an update on my experience with it. I'm on four modules (ultimate body, mind-body connection, positive attitude and motivation & energy) as well as having taken the sleep booster option. Sleep - I've noticed a big change in my sleep. I had extremely poor sleep for the whole first week (about 9 days) during which I kept waking up all through the night and had trouble getting to sleep. The last couple of days have seen a complete change in this and I'm now sleeping much better. Even when I was sleeping poorly however, I noticed that I was not tired during the day at all (which is normally a big problem for me). I noticed that I definitely had a foggy feel in my mind for the first two-three days and increased the amount of spirulina I was taking from 2g to 4-5g depending on how I feel on the day. The amount of spirulina seems to be about right now. Positivity - I have noticed an improvement in my ability to respond well to bad circumstances. I tend to stay positive much more without putting a lot of effort into it. I have also been much more communicative and open with other people lately. Energy & Motivation - I definitely have more energy. I used to struggle very badly in the afternoons at work and also used to run out of puff very early in the evening. I no longer get tired at all when I'm at work and I now maintain a good energy level for all of the day. I really wanted to see a huge improvement in my motivation to exercise, but so far the motivation seems to be mostly affecting my work and my desire to look after myself as well as getting smaller things done. I've been keen to get some tasks done at work that I've been putting off for a while (documentation) and have been cooking nice healthy meals every night. My meals are normally healthy takeway and I might normally cook once a week. I have cooked healthy meals for maybe 8 nights since starting without even thinking about it. I'm also much more motivated to keep my house clean. Body Modules - I have not attended my martial art for the last two weeks so I find this one a little harder to comment on comparitively. I have however had some success with explosive strength training. I have been able to easily perform push-ups with claps which I've never been able to do before. My flexability seem to have improved in a couple of problem areas as well, which I think is actually a pretty big indicator that something is happening. I hope to post some more detail on this area in the next week or two. Overall, based on my experience, I do believe that Paths is working for me. I have taken Spirulina as a supplement before without all of these results, so I don't think that it is just the Spirulina. I'll keep using Paths and post my results until the 30 days and then decide if I'll continue or not. Seraph. |

I started PATHS last Sunday and have been having a kind of off week (posted modules earlier). Low energy, low motivation, a bit more depression despite my best efforts to let it go. But I also quit caffeine a week ago Wednesday and the weather has been kind of weird, lots of ups and downs in barometric pressure, which may be affecting things. Will keep updating.

After spending most of yesterday reading through both the results thread and the locked thread (was that some read!) I decided last night that I would give PATHs a try. I signed up half an hour ago and it is a quick quick process. The information that you have to input isn't very much information at all. I thought it would ask me stuff like what I want to accomplish with my modules but it was basic birthdate, etc stuff. I got to view my presentation right away. Because of stuff that was written in the locked thread, I had actually thought it would take time for them to put together, but I was wrong. So I logged in right afterwards, and viewed the full presentation. I signed up for four modules: Business Productivity & Creativity Intuition & Insight Enhanced Sexual Pleasure Successful Living Phase 2 The main module that I had wanted to try was the Intuition and Insight one. I have always had this feeling that I'm about as intuitive as a block of wood, but in these past two years working with LOA I've gotten to a place where I've been wanting to shed this resistance. But there were other modules that looked interesting too, so I ended up going for four. I know that the guarantee covers only one module but I'm okay with that. I decided to go for Successful Living Phase 2 because I seem to already have the control of thought habits that Phase 1 outlines. But I wouldn't mind a few more synchronicities. So, like I said, I did the presentation within the last half hour and one thing's for sure. I am feeling very groggy. I'm yawning right now, which is kind of unusual. I'm a night owl and sleep-in usually, and right around now is when I tend to get my second wind. Other than that, nothing much but hey, it's only been about ten minutes since I viewed the presentation. I might view it one more time before I go to bed, since this groggy feeling is awfully handy for sleeping. Let's see, what else? I set my wake time for 8:00 a.m. and really, if I can get this, then it will be working for me. I have always had this sleeping-in thing - some mornings I don't get out of bed until after 10:00 (perk of working from home and having a husband who's an early riser and handles the before-school rush gracefully and sweetly) and even then I'm groggy and it takes me a while to get up. I do love sleep, I like it when I'm asleep, I always have great dreams, but it would be nice to need less sleep (I set my sleep time to 1:00 a.m, which is roughly when I normally go to bed) and to wake up early and without feeling groggy. I'll post more results, if any, later in the week. Belle |

Thanks, Seraph. Yes, that explains it a bit more. I actually don't see why they even need to tell people how many manhours are involved. It is a business, after all, and if that's their price, that's their price. But it did seem odd to me that I was able to see it right away - just struck a funny note after reading the other thread. So thanks again for the link, it definitely addressed what I was wondering. Belle |

Just popping back in here to post one more thing. I am still incredibly groggy, but the strange thing is that I'm yawning like crazy. I'm not a yawner. Even when I get really tired, I don't tend to yawn. I think I've yawned about five times in the last two minutes. I was telling my husband about watching the presentation, and I must have yawned about ten times during our conversation. And I can't even go to bed right now! I've got a load of blogging to get through first. Toothpicks! I need toothpicks to prop my eyelids open! Belle |

Hi Belle, If you are feeling mentally groggy and sleepy, most likely you need more amino acids. How much Spirulina are you taking? Minimum 4 grams is a must especially if you are feeling sleepy. I know the sleep module works, but I think this is more of a "Brain food" thing for you right now. Here is a post I made over a PI for Keith that I know will help you too. Hi Keith, I do feel your frustration, but you are wise to take it easy with the detox. Having headaches is no fun!! Detoxifying the body is another way of saying you are cleaning your physical body of toxins on a cellular level. Toxins coming from chemicalized foods, air pollution, unfiltered water, pesticides on fruits and vegetables. pharmaceutical drugs, over the counter medications, and the list goes on. The Chlorophyll in green foods(Spirulina) is powerful at bringing in the "brooms" and sweeping out the toxins stuck in the cells. After being unstuck with the Chlorophyll the Water you drink will flush the toxins away. "Cleaning House" is just one benefit of taking Spirulina, the most important benefit is the easily digestible Protein in Spirulina. (Essential Amino Acids - the amino acids that the body can't produce on it's own) The brain needs plenty of amino acids to function properly even before you give it the extra workout that Paths brings on. On Paths you must make certain you are getting enough amino acids for the demand that the brains neurotransmitters need. "The communication network in your brain is a multi-trillion maze of connections capable of performing 20 million billion calculations per second. How does this network operate? There are three major players: Neurons, which power the message, Neurotransmitters, which create the message and Receptors, which receive the message." So one benefit of taking Green foods is cleaning house, another important benefit (especially for Paths users) is feeding the Brain the nutrition it needs. (fatty acids, and minerals, etc help too - The Human Brain - Brain Food Pyramid) which spirulina also does. And yet there are more benefits of these green foods that are too numerous to mention but you can certainly google and read up on. Also Keith, you are getting your amino acids with the free form amino acid product you are using, and the amount of Spirulina that you are taking will slowly detox you without too much discomfort. Just keep adding spirulina as your intuition guides you. So there are several things we all need to do to nourish the brain, but you just can't overdose on Green Foods! And if Detoxifying in the beginning is an issue just take it nice and easy!! I think I may post in the near future other ways to detox your body to remove toxins gently. The truth though is that we are always releasing what no longer serves us and moving towards what does! Detoxing is just a normal part of having a physical body and living in this world. |

Thanks, Grace. Since last night was my first time viewing the presentation, and yesterday was a holiday, I didn't have any spirulina on hand. Also, I'd expect that it takes a while for your body to absorb the spirulina so I actually didn't anticipate needing it. But I did buy a bottle today from GNC. I saw a bottle of liquid chlorophyll next to it. Would that work as well as the spirulina? I ended up getting gel caps but they are huge. My husband's going to lead me through a tapping session tonight to see if I can get over this swallowing pills thing that I have. But just in case the EFT doesn't work (although I guess it should) I was wondering about the chlorophyll since it's liquid. It was bizarre last night because I was incredibly tired and went to bed as soon as I could, but I did NOT fall asleep for quite a while. It's hard to explain, but there wasn't the frustration of tossing and turning when you have a bout of insomnia. It was more like there was me, groggy with sleep and almost numb with sleep, and then there was me, not asleep but aware of that part of me that was so sleepy. This went on for a while and then eventually I fell asleep. Then when I dreamed last night, I had the strangest dream. I dreamed words. I've never done that before. I can't remember what the words were, though. Just sheets and sheets of words. I got woken up this morning by my husband and son before the time I had set, but I definitely wasn't alert right away. At around 4:00 today the grogginess returned. I will take the spirulina and see if that helps. I'm guessing this is all good, since something's going on, but I definitely don't like being groggy. It's all quite interesting. Belle |

Hi Belle, Yes you definitely need more amino acids, The chlorophyll will help cleanse your system, but does not have enough of the essential amino acids your brain needs when on Paths that Spirulina or Afa's have (Blue green algae). Gnc has nice products, but next time go to your Health food store and talk with them there. They will show you the best Spirulina and the Best Blue green algae they have and you can compare the price etc. Buy the best quality you can; then you won't have to take as many and you may find some good powder, liquid etc to mix with juice or just take straight. The gel caps you have are good for now, but as time passes and you understand your body (on these foods) better you will find what is perfect for you. |

Hi Belle, Yes. LOL I didn't make that very clear. GNC has nice products, just not a large selection of the GREEN Foods I am so fond of!! We have GNC's all over the place here too. But my favorite place to buy organic high quality Spirulina, AFA'S etc. is in Nature's Food Patch. A very large Health food Store in my area. |

Exactly two weeks to the day that I first viewed my module, the groggy, foggy feeling is gone, just like that, and I feel so much better now! It's as if the sun finally came out after weeks of hiding behind the clouds. Hang in there guys, it's only temporary. |

Grace, can you provide a link to the headache discussion with Keith, over at PI. (I can't find anything on that site - don't know why so many people use it.) Anyway, I would like to read more about PATHS and headaches. Thanks. Bart |

Sooooo here I am after seven weeks on PATHS...........feeling no different, no worse, no better on my four modules......I had been taking up to 20mg of Spirulina a day up until last Thurday 6th April..........I have taken none since then as a kinda experiment and HONESTLY really? I feel no different in any way. In fact my sleep has gone back to what if was BEFORE PATHS.........better than it was...........better.........just like normal. I have a family member staying with me right now from England who has a B.Sc. (with Honours) in Biochemistry and I have talked to her extensively about PATHS and she reckons it is a load of rubbish.........sooooooooo as much as I wanted to believe in PATHS and let's face it I borrowed the $$$$$ as I so wanted it to work, I honestly don't know at this point what is going on.......what to think......is it just a load of rubbish, or is it me? If it is true about subliminal messaging or self delusion of some kind as has been pointed out on this forum, then why hasn't PATHS worked for those of us who were such believers? I have been on four modules since February 4th. While I have not had any earthshattering breakthroughs, I have to say that I do feel a certain alignment taking place. There are some aha moments where I can say that this situation and my reaction to it would have normally sent me over the edge. I'm sticking with it nonetheless. I've always been a tough nut to crack. My kids are adjitating me tonight. Instead of getting in a huff and blowing a gasket, I'm going to bed, and let go of it. Thats big for me!! I'll be back!! Hello Grace!! Thanks Stephen |

Good question. I haven't been one of those that really believed in the "scientific" attributes of it. Just kind of did it on the chance that there's something here that I don't really understand. I've read and listened to and watched plenty of stuff along the lines of "Think and Grow Rich" and it's offshoots and permutations. A lot of it gets put in the "Interesting Jack Up and Gloss over bag of Self-Improvement Parlor Tricks". Some of it sticks, but it's pretty easy to turn around and beat myself up with it too. That should show you how resistant I am..... Still, PATHS has shown me a few instances of being that plopped down out of the blue. Some have been "feel good" stuff and some have been an abscence of the usual prejudgemental mindtalk. It's been 3 weeks so far and I'm sticking with it. All that said, I hear your commitment to yourself. I hear it pretty well. Thanks for doing that. Rock On - John H.

Hi Stephen, I have also behaved differently with my kids too!! In fact the first week on Paths my kids kept asking me "why are you so happy"!! It was so wonderful that they noticed such a difference in me! I am much stronger with them, and they don't even seem to mind!! They are doing work around the house when I ask them to with no problem! This is FABULOUS!! Loved hearing from you Stephen |

Hi darling girl I've followed your posts here and over at PI . I would just like to add to everyones over at the other forum how fabulous and unique you are. It's all down to uniqueness and individuality. We can't all have the same results because we are all so different. My modules haven't given me any results that I've noticed. I was able to read about Spirulina that was recommended at another forum. This explains in detail the benefits of Spirulina. The benefits of Spirulina are phenomenal . I've noticed the more Spirulina I take the better I feel so maybe for me it's all down to the intake of Spirulina I'm taking.I read that spirulina can be used for weight reduction as it's low in calories, fat and highly digestable. So maybe it's the Spirulina that I'm consuming in such high doses that is aiding in my lb reduction. I also read that it aids depression, pain and anti-aging. For anti aging, spirulina contains substances that are known to have an anti aging effect such as Vit E, Tyrosine and Selenium. I could go on and on but I do wish that I had started on the spirulina before I started PATHS to see if it is all down to just the green stuff. My sister has started just taking Spirulina and she feels fab so she feels that she doesn't need PATHS. So while my sis experiments I'll just plod along with PATHS till the end of the month and them make a decison to keep on with paths. I do know one thing for certain ,I will be continuing my Spirulina. Hugs XOX Last edited by Holly; 05-22-2007 at 05:39 PM. |

Wonderful to hear your results Holly, so do you think it's because of just Spirulina alone, PATHS or a combination of the two? I have to say the only noticeable effect I have noticed is that my nails are stronger............. Barb xx |

Hi Kev and Barb I'm taking 100% Hawaii and they come in 1g tablets. Initially when I wasn't feeling anything I was taking only 5g spirulina a day. To feel anything ,you know the euphoric feelings, I am taking 15g a day now, which is huge but it has given me energy and that oh so good feeling. I don't take it before going to bed as I read somewhere that it can disturb sleep patterns. The Spirulina definitely helps, whether PATHS does, I'm still out on that. I've also noticed that while I was on the low dose of Spirulina I wasn't motivated to do anything yet as soon as I increased to 15g a day I felt so energised. As I said ,the information on Spirulina that I read ,list so many benefits that are similar to PATHS and you all know that PATHS only guarantee their product if you take Spirulina. My sister is showing great results by being only on Spirulina .She has lost 4 lbs and her depression which she has suffered with for years has lifted. She is using the powder in a fruit juice each morning and having a smoothie through the late afternoon. She has also noticed that her adult acne that flares up occassionally has completely settled down. Her tummy problems like indigestion has completely disappeared,so she is one happy little camper. She was so desperate to start PATHS when I told her about it but I stalled her as I wasn't 100% confidant that it worked. In conclusion, having said all the above I'm now convinced it's the HIGH doses of Spirulina that have given me fab results with weight loss. I know that many will be disappointed and reason that the Spiulina is there only as an aid for PATHS BUT hey, if you do masses of Spirulina without the PATHS as my sis has proved ypu will see results. This is not to pick holes in PATHS ,this is just my take on my results. Want results....increase your Spirulina intake to 15g or over and watch your results come into your life. Hugs X Hugs |
