Loss of direction with goal
 

Hi, I have this goal that I have set for myself to meet a person with specific qualities that I wanted them to have to be friends with and maybe eventually date. I've tried pursuing this goal before in the past but not as structured as I made it now which has helped. I've been working on the goal for alittle over a month and in the beginning it was alittle slow but I would talk to a few people (online). Then it started to be dead and I would have no responses. Then I started dealing with my own self-doubts, not necessarily about being able to achieve the goal, but inner self-doubts. I eventually conquored those doubts and I was back on track and motivated. Then about a week ago I started to experience inner self doubts again, a negative distracting thought. It really set me back and slowed my momentum down, and thinking back in the past about how I would always start and stop and never finished made me want to forget about my doubts and reach my goal. This last setback really tore me down bad. Because I had lost alot of enthusiasm and momentum, it made me feel lost and really not in control of the whole situation. What should I do?
