Default How do I begin LOA?

Hello....

I began researching L.O.A years ago but was at a different state of mind. Since beginning it though, I fell into the hands of a terrible man whom sent me through a wirlwind of trouble. (I account this to my thoughts way before I started contiously practicing. lol ) Anyway, I stopped practicing about 3 years ago due to the constant muddle of my life. I now take medication for disease and deal with on and off depression from the medication but I have come a long way in bettering myself and I am now looking at where I sit and am realizing that I am fully ready to start practicing again.

My problem?

I am concerned about the load of issues and subcontious emotions and feelings bottled up within me that need to be released. I am fully aware of meditations that can help me access those emotions to cleanse myself of them but I'm TERRIFIED to face my skeletons.

(Plus, it is very hard for me to relax enough to even begin meditating again. I keep myself on a constant busy body ruitine afraid that I'll start thinking or fall into depression if I.. stop. This has been a continuous practice for about 2 years. I'm ready to go forward with LOA but obviously you see how my past still affects my future every day.)

Does anyone know if one must face those subcontious issues to clease themselves before starting or would simpe affirmations of being clear and emotionally free eventually do the job just as well?

Here is what I have done so far and it's quite limited.

I nailed up my family's first "Vision Board" in our shared hallway of the house. It is only my 2 son's and I so we are picking out pictures right now to post on tihs vision board. Do we just post them up or do I need to "charge" the photos with intentive thought or will just having the pictures help to manifest our desires?

I also posted a personal vision board, believe it or not, in my master bathroom on the wall across from the toilett!! lol.

The kids and I wrote an intentions list to use every morning. We do our lists before they head out to school in the morning, saying them slowly upto 10 times or more outloud together until our tone seems to feel like we "own" the thought.

Can you please direct me to my next step especially my fear of not being "clear" enough to start. I gained some MAJOR emotional and psychologocal trauma issues from my past. I don't want them to interfere with my future. Thank you.

When I learned the ABC, I crapped my pants and said A in perplexion whilst looking at my mommy for cleanup.

With LOA, intend and feel gooooooooooood, then wait in good expectation.

Simples.

You don't have to face your problems, no.. you can heal them away..

Healing is just that.. you heal yourself without even knowing what the problem is.. do you understand?

But you must make sure not to grab onto the things that are leaving you.. you must just let them go.. for example.. you could be healing yourself.. or having a healer do it (don't matter!)

And suddenly some ancient memory of your "dad" hitting you or a molestation or whatever! comes into your head.. the grabbing onto it is.. ohh, I forget that happened! How awful!

The letting go is.. I don't need that.. cya!

There are no rules to manifestation!

See yourself as a conscious creator where you can create rules.. it's up to you.. I would give positive intention to those photo's if you thought it was fun.. I would not bother if you didn't.. simple enough, yes?

Also be careful about who you show your manifestation/loa wishes.. someone can come up to you and say "what a crock of ♥♥♥♥♥!" and if you believe them.. it's a bit of a downer/harder to manifest for you..

My teacher offers some free energy tools that are connecting to energy.. they really seem to if you ask me.. help clear out your space "limitations" or heal you..

If you want I can point you in that direction?

The whole secret to better manifestation is getting to "know you" in the idea that we are all conscious creators.. but we are also unconscious creators.. if you make the unconscious, conscious! Manifestations becomes that much easier.. least that's my experience or working theory

I believe with LOA as you raise your vibration those things you call problems melt away. You will forget those "problems" or "issues" ever existed.

Lately I have been really resonating with Abraham~Hicks stuff.

The thing with LOA is what you give your attention to is what manifests more in your life, so why would we want to give our attention to any of our "issues" or negative habits... This is actually the work, giving your attention to that which you desire and feeling how it feels to have the things you want rather than giving your attention to things you don't want to happen.

What you resist persists.

Focus on those things that make you feel good. As you do that you raise your vibration and attract more and more things that feel good. Once you get that down, then you can start manifesting specific things.

Enjoy!

No, you do not.

The only thing that is of concern to your vibration is the here and now. Anything that is having an observable effect on your manifestation is causing an emotional reaction in response to your conscious focus on it. Your conscious focus activates that vibration in your conscious experience. Take away the focus, and you don't activate that vibration in your experience.

So what you want to do is do a gut check as often as you can and just ask yourself, how do I feel in this moment? If the answer is: less than optimal (i.e. bad) then it is time to ask yourself the following question: what am I consciously focused upon, in my thoughts, at this very moment that is causing me to feel disconnected?

Your emotions are simply responses to the thoughts you are thinking. And your subconscious is just an amalgamation of patterns that you've held in your conscious mind so long that they have become second nature. The subconscious is just the automatic part of you. All that is of real import, is your conscious thoughts in the here and now, and the resultant emotional feedback you get when you think those thoughts. Because of that automatic part of your mind it is easier to think the same thoughts you have always been thinking, but making an effort to think different and more positive thoughts, and the resultant desirable manifestations it yields, will make it more than worth the small effort it takes to change your habitual vibrational offering.

If you notice you are not feeling good, you need to find a different way to think about what you are thinking because your current focus is separating you from what you want. This occurs when your thoughts/beliefs do not support your desires. Some also refer to this as upstream thinking.

Paddling upstream is hard in the physical world, and upstream thinking is hard in the mental world too. There is a lot of resistance, or friction, in this behavior. The solution of course is to stop resisting and go with the stream by allowing yourself to think thoughts that support the possibility of your desires coming to pass, rather than focusing on what might prevent them.
