Default AHA! moment

Following several of the links posted throughout the forums here, tonight I'm reading Becoming: The Evolution of Being | A Quantum Manifestation Ebook | What Are You Becoming? and came across this concept:

* When you Dream, you are every aspect revealing itself in your experience of it.

* You are the store, the food you’re buying, the bills you’re paying, the friends you’re having fun with, and the war that seems so far away.

And I thought to myself--wait a minute: if I'm the store, why wouldn't I want to have whatever it is I need? And if I can have anything, there's no need to take it all, just enough will satisfy me. I can do that. I don't have to feel like I can't have things. I CAN have what I need, I just have to accept it. I think this was already beginning to trickle into my mind earlier this evening before I even read the passage, because I bought a LOT of food today. I knew I could afford it, so I stocked up on healthy things. Previously I'd go to the store almost every day and only buy a few things at a time, because I felt like that's all I could afford.

It also made me feel gratitude towards the bills I'm paying. If I'm the bills, then I am compensating myself. If I'm the war, why am I fighting? What am I fighting against if it's just me? Makes no sense to fight if I'm hurting myself. What can I possibly gain?

I'm sure some of you have already passed this phase. What's next?

sounds like you're on the right track. I'm a big fan of that book as well.

LOL, another AHA! moment just happened.

While waiting for a friend to show up at my house this morning, I sat and meditated on the idea of a $50 bill drifting through the door along with him as he would walk in. My friend is a personal trainer who was coming by to do a consultation with me. Over and over, I visualized the money flowing in the door.

We had a good consultation, and as he was getting ready to leave, he asked if I wanted to schedule a session for next week. I asked "how much would it be?" since the consultation was free. He said "I normally charge $50 a session, but because you just moved into this house and I'm sure you're dealing with a lot of bills and stress, I'll do it for free."

So there was my $50! Not what I expected, but I'm still grateful.

Yep!

And another AHA! moment... I realized I have been intentionally manifesting things in my life since I was 8 years old. I just didn't know that's what it was called at the time. I would concentrate and focus very hard on something I wanted (usually an experience, not an object), go into a semi-hypnotic state, and it would happen. If my intention was not positive (one time I wanted revenge for being hurt on the playground), it wouldn't work.

No wonder I'm having so much fun with this. It's like being a kid again.
