In one of the advices in The Secret of making The Law of Attraction work was to think positive thoughts and experience positive feelings. There was an emotional guidance system that listed postive feelings and negative feelings. But I was wondering will The Law of Attraction work for someone who can't or might not want to always create positive thoughts and feelings for themselves? For example, will The Law of Attraction work for someone who is always in a neutral, peaceful state of being? |

Yes. If you sink to the bottom of the barrel for so long, you will start attracting negative experiences or view everything negatively. It's alright to feel sad or guilty or anything for awhile. But if you feel that every single day, chances are, your manifestations will become negative. The best thing to do is ask for help out of your hole. When you do that, you start projecting this need for help and your guides and other spirits will ensure you get it. I have had that happen several times when I am in the dumps. Hope this helps! Who wouldnt want to have positive feelings? Another story if you can't, it's understandable. We all have our sad moments and bad days. But we shouldn't think too much about negative things that happened with us, we can transform them to the positive feelings or think of what you had learned of it. Look at the negative things happened or failure as a lesson you learned,you got more experience,new challenge,now you can move forward. If it's something you can fix,think of what you should do. If its something you can't change, let it go,it's in the past now. I just think we shouldn't stick with out negative thoughts. They don't let us move forward. If you feel neutral and peaceful,it's still positive I think.

| This happened to me. I was in a pit for about a decade because the situation I was in was not a healthy one and there was not a reasonable way to just move out of it. And as Steve mentions in pod #16, as I was observing my crappy experience, naturally I was also thinking about it, which attracted MORE of the same thing. At the time I simply did not have enough positive things in my experience to sustain positive thoughts sufficient to "escape" the pit. But I figured out how to appreciate "little" things that many people would never have noticed (including myself prior to then), and as my appreciation grew, I realized it was possible to remain positive despite the turmoil I was in, "knowing" and trusting that would eventually lead me up and out. And it worked. It was challenging, but eventually it worked.
