Default Finding a new career

Soo about year ago I quit my job becuase I found out it was making me sicker.
According to my naturopath I had obscene levels of candidia and well I'm a pastry chef. So I left the industry and started job searching and applying EVERY job that I think I could do. After 6 months, I got my levels within decent range but still didn't have a job. Since I was unable to find a job in another industry, I ended up taking a part-time job being an offsite chef for catering. When it was really busy, they asked me to help out in the kitchen and now I'm back in pastry kitchen and it feels like every week I have to turn down their offer to be a full-time employee.

I keep trying to maintain a sunny desposition to my situation but I am struggling to see what life lesson it is I am supposed to be learning.
I ENJOY WHAT I DO and the jobs for pastry come soo easily to me. But if it affecting my health, I feel it's obviously not the right path. ALL I WANT IS A JOB THAT WILL COVER MY EXPENSES SO I CAN FOCUS ON MY HEALTH! If my health is my priority why is it that I continuously get job offers in pastry, without even trying! CAN some other industry/job just at very least answer one of my resumes! HOW THE EFF am I supposed to believe that my health is a priority when it feels like a such a fight?

I feel like I am being tormented. I FINALLY find a job I enjoy and what happens, It makes me sick. I've applied to the healthy places and even though I had cut out all my expenses but the bare essentials those places haven't been able to offer a salaray that would cover my expenses. I just came across some of my IM exercises I did to the best of my ability and it was just a reminder that not a damn thing changed (which is why you put is somplace where you'll forget about it soo you don't have a reminder that it hasn't happened yet, but really how am not supposed to be a lil bitter if i can't manifest a fricking simple job at a decent wage after 10 months, for something as important as my health).

I don't even know if what I am having now is true frustration or just a mood swing due to the sugar in my system agian.

Candida is a form of yeast that exists naturally in everyone. It is normally harmless and is simply present in the body. However, if the body for one reason or another falls out of balance, candida can grow excessively, leading to a host of problems. Unlike many other medical conditions, there is not just one cause of candidiasis that is accepted by the medical community. There is a combination of a variety of different factors that allows this form of yeast to wreak havoc on the human body.
I work with a lot of things that feed it, I do sample everything I make to make sure it's correct. Sugar naturally, all the fruits I work with are not allowed for me either, and not to mention the yeast in the air (the more you make bread the more yeast occurs naturally in the air).

Is there another way to make sure it's correct?

Actually, there's loads of different choices here, I think, that can involve you keeping the job you love without all the negative effects.

For example, you could train yourself to know it's correct using your other senses (besides taste). (i.e. you could taste a few for a while and then use your other senses on the ones that are correct to know how "correct" smells, feels, and looks.)

You could taste it without swallowing it.

You could look for and find ways to countaract the candida in your system.

Etc.

Hi Missbhaven,

How about teaching cooking in culinary schools/high school/community college?
