Haha!!!!

I was just telling someone the other night about how much Office 2007 sucks, but that I was willing to adapt and learn it because I don't want to be one of those inflexible old people who don't want to learn anything new just because I liked the old way of doing things better.

Then I said: I wish that my work would offer some classes on the "new" (it's new to us, I know that office 2010 has just been released recently) version of word so that I could sit down and learn the ins and out of the layout of the new version.

And whadda ya know? I get to work today and there is an email in my inbox about offering Office 2007 classes to employees. :D

This is an intention-manifestation forum.

I thought my point was pretty obvious. :D

Not really. Since it is a case in isolation does posting it in this forum make it any less likely to be a simple coincidence?

James81: Thats funny and great!! :D

I'm not trying to prove anything here. ;)

Sorry, let's start again. I'm just trying to understand the point. Are you saying the simple thought you had without any sustained thinking or intense emotional input created this?

LMAO

You are funny.

What I am saying is that the other day I said "I wish my company would offer some classes in Microsoft Office so that I can get to know the new layout" and that today, I got to my office and there was an email saying that they are offering classes.

I make no presumptions beyond that. I thought it was interesting, and that a lot of those interesting things have been happening to me lately.

I enjoy the banter. Could you explain what is funny about my comment? You said it is interesting yet make no presumptions beyond that. So then what exactly is interesting? You also said that lots of other interesting things have been happening to you lately. This sounds like the beginning of a presumption?

What response are you expecting? "Wow James aren't you amazing you attracted an office 2007 course?" I'm sorry I just don't get it!

Angela 08-17-2010 02:28 PM

James, I love how vestiges of your resistance hound you in what I think is your first I/M thread, isn't it? That's wonderful -- and I agree, very funny! :D You are ultra-powerful!

You're taking it way too seriously I think :)

You're The One, James, that's pretty obvious! Now you have to see the Oracle. :)

Hey, it might be the beginning of a presumption. Maybe there's some validity to all this after all. :D

I wonder now, if I could purposefully create a unicorn? That would be fun. I might need to get a hold of some shrooms first, though.

That's because you aren't listening!

Why aren't you laughing? :D

You know what comes to mind for me?

Robots with lazers riding on the backs of dinosaurs.

Well, we're all entitled to our little fantasies!;)

Angela 08-17-2010 02:38 PM

Hey, James, what presumption might be beginning? I hope it's one that totally inspires you and lights you up. :)

For me, it's making out with Dave Coulier, and Emma Thompson walks in and tells me she's not going to help me get through another one of these-type situations.

Jon Tore 08-17-2010 02:42 PM

Cool! :D

But be careful with your thoughts now... if I get in trouble with the robo-dinosaur mafia over here, I know who to blame.

st33med 08-17-2010 02:47 PM

IMO Office 2010 has a lot better user interface than 2007. It combines the Ribbon concept with pre-2007 menus. And I feel it is a lot better organized.

I think it's that I can get whatever I desire through intention. Not necessarily by thought alone (that sometimes happens, though), but by however I chose to create that intention.

I'm imagining Jon Tore with the Sword of Justice, able to deflect lazer bolts with a single swoop.

So if the dinosaur mafie comes at ya, I got ya covered.

James81 08-17-2010 03:09 PM

Oh my! LOL

Sunday, I told my cousin's boyfriend that if he wanted the best burger ever, he should go to Five Guys.

Just a minute ago, I go over to yahoo to check my email and see this:

I think I'm gonna go and do some work now and see if sanity is restored later on!:D

ssandra 08-17-2010 03:24 PM

That's amazing James! Way to go!! :D

Now start thinking about that money tree.... :) Lets see what happens ;)

In my reality I keep seeing people (mainly children) who look a lot like me when I was young. Which extremely weird, since I was very blond and light and right now I'm living in Mexico....
