Realistic Use Of Intention Manifestation To Land A Major Role In A New HBO TV Series

To those that know me, I have cracked it through my own efforts online.

To those who don't know me - I am an Actor working my way upwards, currently a movie star in Thailand (where I currently live), and soon to have International reknown.

By finding a specific goal (character, TV series) and defining that goal and writing it down:
7.5 Foot Tall Actor Required For Ser Gregor Clegane "The Mountain That Rides" For HBO TV Series

Following up and doing all everything that I could to get the attention of hte right people I was able to bring this off.

The TV series is to be called a "Game Of Thrones", HBO have done the pilot and recieved the go ahead to film a full season, which they start in the next few weeks. You can watch the HBO teaser here:

Hi All,

Thanks though I did not write this posting for congratulations. I am successful and have been successful in most things I have doen in life but now I am after the big fish so to speak.

I do hope some of you are reading how I did it and gaining ideas for how you can achieve your life goals too.

On a side note... Now my question is (I love the game of thrones series) since Mr. Martin still has a couple of books left to finish the series, and they WERE supposed to be released by now, I hope he's not gonna drag it out for this show... I WANT MY END DAMN IT! (and he better not go all Robert Jordan on me and die before he finishes also)

Maybe you should post/move this in the intention and manifestation forum.
They tend to be a bit more inquisitive when it comes to your process.

I have been following your adventure for a while and am very happy for you .

You are a shining example of what resilience, discipline, determination, and cultivating one's talent can do. I am familiar with how hard the movie business can be to break into when you start out as a nobody.

This is very inspiring, to say the least.

You gave me the incentive to be more agressive with the Intention-Manifestation, but also to be more disciplined in getting myself in fighting shape, both intellectually, emotionally, and physically, so that I can create my own opportunities.

What you did was basically to get leverage from the people who should have a decision in the casting process: the public. I had a few parts in independent projects, and it was always by bypassing the casting director. IMO casting agents are worthless, and agents do not deserve to make 10% on parts the actor went after.
I hope this gig will get them to pay attention to you and actively find you work.

Your post has reminded me that everytime I achieved something that really mattered, it was when I actively seeked out opportunities and kept a discipline of directing my mind like a laserbeam towards my goals. More importantly, it was when I didn't let doubt enter my mind or my environment through the so-called voice of wisdom of my friends and acquaintances. Basically, I avoided socialising with people who called realistic the view that dreams cannot be lived...

Intention/manifestation backed up by action does work.

C33 - after I had gotten an expression of interest from the casting people I passed the negotiations over to an agent that I like and think of as a friend, he is working more like a manager, I have negotiation skills but it is not my main talent and some things are better handled by a professional.

Don't write off your agent yet, find one that you get along with. I have had a couple of really good agents now, friends really, trying to make a go of it together - this is how i prefer to work.

Good luck with it (luck is your prior preparation) and stick with it, you can make a comfortable living without being a star (not the I'm there yet) and it certainly is more interesting for me than many other life options.

And yes, be very careful of those who tell you to get 'realistic' and 'stop dreaming' counter their advice by learning, preparing, studying, and making yourself it the person that can have your dreams.

Conan, this is very exciting! I had no doubt from your level of persistence and determination, and your unique persona that you would break into mainstream films/TV.

I wouldn't say that. And if it was, it simply is one formula. If someone has something that's worked for them, they should post it.
The IM forum has discussions of techniques that work for you, how you think they work and why.
But often most people just need validation that it's worked, and if they see it worked for more and more people, it makes the belief that it can work feel real. And well, many would say that's the easiest way to manifest, to feel it's real.
