Default You. "Manifesting". Identification. And your relationship with reality.

You are consciousness or awareness or light or God or whatever you want to call "it". "It" is who/what you really are. "It" is not physical, so "it" cannot be pointed to. "It" is like an endless invisible sea of light or awareness or consciousness or whatever. There are many metaphors to describe "it", don't get lost in them because they are simply metaphors to describe in a physical language something that has no physical form, something that is, and is beyond all physical form. You will never be able to point to it and understand it with a human mind, because the human mind is a product of the physical world. Surrending is when you realize that it's just You, it's who You are, it's how YOU feel, it's you. It's like trying to see your pupils without a mirror, not gonna happen. Surrending is realizing that there truly isn't anything to look for, there's nothing to point to, there's nothing to do to become "it", because you already are it, and to continue looking for "it" would be like a dog chasing his tail, endlessly, never catching it, running in circles, thinking "i'm so close, i'm so close". You're closer than you think you are!

Many people try to describe it, but it cannot be accurately described. Don't get lost in metaphors, don't take metaphors literally. Somebody elses metaphor may only make sense to them and nobody else, but many people will take it seriously, take the metaphors literally and get so lost in them. Wars are faught over other peoples metaphors. silllly.

When you are identified with the body, people will say look within, because from the perceptual standpoint, it appears if "consciousness" is inside of you. This isn't because consciousness is actually located in one specific area inside of your body that you can point too. No, it's because you've been identified with the body, you believe you are your body and there is a big giant world "out there" that you are trying to survive in. Consciousnesss/awareness/whatever you want to call it, is you, so a tension is created, a resistence, a perceptual barrier is created, when you hold this belief about your identification with the body and the world being "out there", so that the world does seem out there. So you as consciousness are found "in there", in the body, wrapped in tension built barriers of perception. Walls of illusionary separation that form to your perception of being your body and the world being out there, so it appears that "you" are in there. So people say look within to find the truth. The truth is to find the truth, you just have to BE. That's all. You are the truth. Just be you.

People identified with their body who are looking for truth, may be the same who believe that something "out there" is going to save them. Some savior from heaven will come and save them. Some prophecized date will save them. Always looking "out there" to be saved. For truth. When it's not out there or "in here", because out there and in here don't really exist. It's just you and you are all of it.

Okay so maybe "you" have looked inward and found a bit of truth. You've realized yourself as consciousness, or you are stuck in the trappings of the illusionary mind which is begging for you to hold on to it. Maybe you feel very introverted and disconnected with other people, always in your head, or thinking too much. You believe the truth is "inside" of you so that's where your focus and attention stays, inside of you. The world outside of you begins to look like a pixelated dream, and there are hints that your intentions can manifest into this dream, you get glimpses and brief examples of it, but nothing life changing or drastic, nothing that makes you totally accept this idea of intention manifestation. You continuously try to manifest, and the little glimpses fuel your fire, but you get frustrated easilly and seem to never truly find anything substantial, you are always looking to find something tangible.

and maybe it comes maybe it doesn't. maybe you lose connection to other people, being so introverted all the time, convinced that your mind is created all of the "outside" stuff.

Whereever or whatever you are identified with helps to form your perception of the world and the world appears to behave the way your perceive it to.

High School aged kids often become identified with their "image", as a way to fit with and be accepted with other kids, they take on the image of what seems to be the most acceptable, look at how they all label themselves away, thinking they are individuals but they all wear the same uniform that's been sold to them from the prepackaged mainstream entertainment industry. They believe that they are this "emo kid" or whatever. Their image helps them connect with other kids of the same image. It's like a mask they wear until they either out grow it or that image dies off with the times (or evolves). You are not your fashion sense. You are not your musical taste. You are not your opinions. You are not your favorite band or television show or author or whatever. You are not your intelligence or lack thereof.

Not to say these things aren't important. Enjoy life the way you want to, but make sure you know who you are.

What happens when one's identity falls apart? What's left?

You are the invisible light which is simultaneously infinitely small and infinitely huge because it has no size, no form, no limitations, no barriers, no shape, no location. It just is, and it's you.

Imagine a light in the middle of a white room. This light can change into any color, any shade of that color any brightness. Whatever the light is set to, is what appears all around the room, on the walls. Bright blue results in bright blue walls, a bright blue room. Red results in a red room.

You are this "light", the room is your experience of reality, of yourself. Whatever state of being you choose to have and be is what your reality will be. It's what you will experience. You are both the room and the light and the bulb.

Events in our lives result in "mental loops", engrained beliefs that tell us that we have to be one way, so we continuously choose one state of being over another and our reality continuously gives us that experience to experience. Do you know cycles in your life? Or same events popping up in your life all the time? Do your interactions with people usually go the same way? What about your relationships? Are you repeating the same life cycles over and over again? It's time to shed some light, some awareness on them. Why are they there? Do you want to experience the same things over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again?

Once you are aware of these mental loops, telling you the same things, the same "I can'ts" or whatever, telling you that you have to be one way or another, it's very easy to see them for the illusion that they are. And they will disappear, fade like a mirage, drift into oblivion.

Do you have a thought telling you that you aren't free right now? Do you have a thought telling you that you must do this and this and this and this before you can be enlightened? You are enlightened right now. The only thing keeping you from being free is your own thought that convinces you that you are not. The "I need to do this and this before I can be enlightened" mindset is you believing that you are not yet worthy of enlightenment, like you must suffer to get it or must complete a ridiculous task or whatever to get it. But you are right now. You are the one with the key. You can free yourself now if you want to. You don't need to do anything at all for it, so why believe those thoughts that tell you you must?

Everything, everything, everything in your reality is a "shade" of you and what you choose to be. The physical reality is an experience of you, divided up into what appears to be separation so you can have a different type of experience of yourself, as opposed to the one "state of being" the one feeling that is the entirety of you and invisible. Physical reality is your state of being broken into "separate (not really)" pieces so that you are able to experience you that way. Learn. Grow. Play. Dance. Do whatever you want.

instead of just "BEING" in the invisible consciousness. Physical reality is the yang and the formless is the yin. They go hand and hand and are both the same thing.
one is not more important than the other. or better or anything. they just are, and both are vitall for a full experience of you. it's the sweet and the sour, you wouldn't know sweet if it weren't for the sour. You wouldn't know the world of forms if it weren't for the formless. You wouldn't know everything if it weren't for nothing. And then, everything and nothing reveal themselves to be one in the same, which they absolutely are.

(continued in reply. i typed too much. 17000 characters! , had to split it up)
