Troubleshooting the Blue Feather Experiment

Hey all, I'm a law of attraction/intention-manifestation newbie. I literally started trying to bring my intentions into my life this month, and I've had some good advice and consult from a friend who is in the know when it comes to L of A. I have (to my awe) made several clouds disappear after anywhere from 2-7 minutes of stating intentions, maybe 4 or 5 times now. The paradox is I'm not convinced the L of A is completely legit, so that surely hurts me here and there (if it exists, haha).

Anyways, I tried to do the blue feather experiment, where I manifest a blue feather into my reality after 24 hours - didn't happen. Then I made this experiment more believable for myself, and extended the trial period another 48 hours - didn't work. I did not do my visualizations as frequently as I would have liked (only several times per day for like 10 seconds), and I did not really look for signs from the universe to act on. I am just seeking any kind of advice and also appreciate any reassurance that the L of A is in fact legit, and that I just need to get IM down for it to really work (I am starting to believe it a little - I manifested some important desires recently...)

Also I think you're trying too hard. Keep in mind, in the original blue feather experiment, he visualized the feather one time and then pretty much forgot about it for the rest of the day.
