From the way I understand reality, I believe that everything is an illusion, so called solidity is atoms and molecules. We only perceive it as solid because of our 5 senses, take our five senses away and it would be patterns of atoms. Call me crazy, but I got this information from a popular spokesman named David Icke.

so, from this understanding, I think it would be perfectly logical to say that thoughts could create matter, if all matter is, is invisible atoms we cannot see, then I wonder if the mind could manifest atoms into a "solid" object of the observers choice.

sorry if this made you go crazy, but I believe in ultimate possibilities and do not believe in ANY limitations.

The bible says that Jesus literally turned water into wine from nothing. I take that to heart, because he also said that with enough faith nothing would be impossible to do.

Actually, your mind interpreting your sensory input to mean there is solid matter is you creating your internal world model (in which you live). That does not necessarily have anything to do with matter. It's been shown even by science that the model of the world in your brain is only loosely based on the world outside your body. IF (there is no proof) there is any matter separate from you, it may be created separately either by you or others.

It has been suggested by many that you, a spiritual being, has created this 'illusion' including a physical body in a way that it acts as if it is physical. Perhaps it's not just an 'act', perhaps you did actually make it physical (or not).

There topics have been discussed by mystics and others for a long time. They are confusing with little prospect of proving which one is more correct.

Clearly whatever the source of matter, it has fewer limitations than the physical you. It's very likely that the 'real' you is that source.

I encourage you to do more than just think about it. Through various OBE techniques you can go and explore the 'bigger picture' and make your own determination. Sharing of these experiences are a good way to 'discuss' these topics.
