Why did steve block m-i-n-d m-o-v-i-e-s and its website?

I was talking about m.i.n.d.m.o.v.i.e.s to someone in a private message and gave a link to the website about this idea and product and upon looking at the sent message, saw that my mention of m-i-n-d-m-o-v-i-e-s was covered in asterix like ********** and so was the mention of it in the website.

I am just wondering why?

Normally websites are blocked after we received a lot of spam from them or people affiliated with them.

So, if a few persons come on here, trying to spam the forum with that website, we put it on a black list.

This doesn't necessarily mean that the website itself is involved, or bad.

You can just sent the pm with the website address as you typed it here, that should work

If they were caught spamming (or if someone spammed on their behalf), we'd have added the spammed URL to the censored words list. That tends to eliminate the incentive for continued spamming.
