When I was a Child

When I was a child, I used to believe that I was psychic. Every once in a while I would be able to visualize events before they happened. Sometimes I would tell the person next to me what I saw and they would be amazed as it came true.

An example is that when I was in high school, the key club president was trying to get the rest of the club excited about an event. He was running back and forth, trying to pump up the crowd. I turned to my neighbor and whispered "can I get an amen?" Seconds later the club president drove the crowed wild as he shouted "can I get an amen?"

Recently, I have been questioning if I am not psychic, but rather am manifesting my intentions. I tested this out at a basketball game I was watching. When the other team was taking their shots, I would visualize the ball hitting the rim, then falling left. The ball hit the rim, then fell left. Then I visualized it hitting the back of the rim then bouncing forward. The ball hit the rim and bounced forward.

Things are starting to get interesting...

My mother believes that our paths are set in stone and we can't change destiny. This would mean psychics can accurately tell our future.

However I believe we choose our own path. I'd say you are manifesting your intentions

I think most psychics would tell you that the future isn't set in stone. When they make a prediction, they are seeing what's the likeliest outcome ahead if you just go on doing what you usually do.
