I read your impressive list of goals and have seen where you have achieved some success in their accomplishments. I have also seen your conviction that LOA/ IM is a stronger player in your achievements. My question to you:

- What steps do you personally take in applying LOA/ IM?

- How many objectives do you work with at one time and how do you determine which ones they will be?

- Where does personal development fit into your scheme of success?

Thank you in advance.

You might have better luck reaching him at his blog here:

Acting Like Godot

He regularly blogs about his IM experiences. Pretty impressive stuff.

I'm still around, just trying to spend less time on the Internet.

I am constantly setting goals. Some are big goals and some are little goals. Some are quite distant (eg I have 10-year goals) and some have much shorter time frames (eg one-month goals).

What's important is to write them down and review them from time to time and keep rewriting them, which helps them sink into your subconscious.

I use IM on all my goals. I most certainly also take action on all my goals, to the extent that I can. LOA takes care of the rest.

I use all the usual methods, but I do mix & match and adapt and play around. There are creative visualisation methods like Jose Silva's (involving meditation); and Tracy's goal writing exercises (where you write about your goals as if they had already come true).

I also like Abraham-Hicks' method of constantly reaching for the "next better thought" (in other words, whatever you catch yourself thinking, just consciously frame and reframe the thought in a more and more positive form).

I have many ongoing intentions and goals at any given time. They cover all areas of my life, eg family, career, health, finances, spiritual etc.

If a person achieves results in one area of his life, but flops in others, I wouldn't consider him as particularly successful. If your life as a whole is doing well, that's success to me. Personal development is a big part of all that.
