Hi all. I was just wondering, when you decide to manifest money in one form or another (cash, check, etc.), do you set a specific amount?? Personally, I find it better *not* to set a specific amount. Just the thought of more money/income works good for me, setting a specific amount makes me feel uncomfortable. Currently, I am using the terms "riches" instead of a dollar amount. |

Well people say the universe likes specificity, I can see why. I like it too as you know when your manifestation is coming. If I just specified money I wouldn't know what money to attribute to which request. Maybe there is a really good reason for specificity. I can't remember now. Peace |

I say what I need. Every month I decide how much I'd like to make. And I always carry the thought " I have enough"

To use the "ordering in a restaurant"analogy of SP's...what happens when you give a fuzzy order to the waiter? If you say " Hmmmm...bring me the soup" and there are three different soups to choose from...he/she will scratch their head and bring you whatever soup they write down first, which may not be quite what you felt like...but you eat it anyway. If you say "Ï want the minestrone with bread and parmesan"...the order is clear, and , (providing they aren't too forgetful or incompetent It's the same with manifesting...though it is always good to leave it up to the universe as to what you really need |

Or, do like I do at Subway. "Pickles and olives, please." "A little more." "Just a little more olives, and maybe one or two more pickles." There's no extra cost at the end when I pay, either. :P /<3 |

I can see how being specific really helps, but for me it just makes me uncomfortable as I start focusing on the specifics and not just "letting it happen." If I say "I want $10," then I'll be looking for just that. But what if the universe wants to give me $20? By looking for only $10 I'd be blocking anything better. So I would just say "some extra cash that is suited for me" or whatever. With other manifestations, I add "best suited for me" so I would avoid specifics and let the universe bring the best or best suited for me, and quite often I've gotten things in ways I didn't think of before. |

If you want to feel secure in your finances, intend for enough money to make you feel secure. If you want to feel abundant, intend for much more than you need. If you want a certain thing, and you're expecting to buy it with money... intend for the thing, not the money. Simple, right? /<3
