Default Reducing clutter to increase manifestation

Something I'd like to share with those interested in manifestation is the importance of removing clutter to speed the path of manifestation.

Clutter includes actual junk and messes in your living area, piles of papers, books and other stuff on your desk and in your work area, garage full of discarded items you'll never use, messy closets, refrigerator full of old food, lots of old clothes you will never wear, etc., etc.

Clutter also includes: unpaid bills, forms that need to be filed, business emails that need to be responded to, homework that needs to be done, short term debts that need to be paid, borrowed items that need to be returned, overdue library books, other tasks that are left undone, etc, etc.

Clutter also includes: Grudges that you hold, hatreds that you keep, resentments, feuds, blame. All of it needs to be cleaned and let go.

By cleaning out all of the above clutter, your sorroundings as well as your psyche will become clear, you will create a vacuum to be filled by the manifestations you set prior to doing the cleanup.

So, in short, if you set specific intentions, then go about cleaning up all of the clutter and messes in your life, you will experience manifesting faster and easier than ever before. In fact, I will contend that you *cannot* manifest fully until you do the cleanup.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. It is a great practise to keep up and really lightens things up in your own psyche, apart from the increased ability to manifest. Nice reminder...thanks. I could do with a bit of uncluttering right now infact

Totally apart from manifestation, getting rid of all your excess and unneeded physical and metaphorical junk has a tremendous "lightening" effect. It's easier to open your closets, go into the garage, find things, focus your thoughts, and on and on. The benefits of decluttering are considerable. Highly recommended, on a physical level as well as emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and so forth.

Thumbs up yup it is!

Davind Chung did a reading for me awhile back and one of the messages was exactly that.get ride of clutter and use feng shui.

the funny thing is that when suddently i feel the need to clean and organize my things, generally it means that my psyche is saying " Heyyy gilr i need you to clean up your head..." so...there i go cleaning and get rid of things i no longer use or need.

so yes it does not only gives space in order for the things to come, and that i have intended but also is a indirect way for us to clean ourselves of all the "garbage".

this reminds me...i still have a lot to clean here at the house

Interesting. Cleanliness is outstanding. Moreso that I'd ever have imagined.

I'll try this.

Any tips on cleaning a house that doesn't belong to you?

This thread has inspired me to clean my room. My roommate will be so relieved, ha ha.

I'm almost done, just the closet to go. It's a good thing I've only lived here since August...

Oh yeah... clutter is one of my BIGGEST issues. I have a real problem throwing things out... I am a natural hoarder! The problem is that too much clutter just leads to mess... and I spend half my time trying to deal with the mess and I'm too tired or too busy to deal with the CLUTTER!

I have just received a Feng Shui course, and I'm going to start learning more about it, and I'll start doing something about all that pesky clutter. It will be a slow and gradual process... but I really want to have removed a great deal of it from my life by the end of the year. I am sure that much of my life is stagnant because I am surrounded by so much stagnant energy.

I really need to learn how to let go of things better! And not feel as if I'm "wasting" something if I have to throw it out or get rid of it.

votoshka, I know exactly what you mean.

The need to hoarde is based in fear and in lack mentality. You worry that if you throw something out or give it away you might not be able to get a replacement, you might suddenly find you need it, you might be showing yourself to be "ungrateful", and any number of other such fears and beliefs.

I was raised with the motto "want not, waste not" (though my mother always said it backward, as "waste not, want not"), and with a distinct attitude of lack and of desperate "we don't know when we'll be able to get another one, so you'd better hold on to that one" concepts.

I still have that to some degree, but getting rid of excess clutter and things we just don't use or need has been helping me to overcome that. And, hey, I really don't need a dozen black tshirts, really. Turns out I can throw away half of them and still be completely dressed at all times!

i'm in. i hadnt really thought about it before stumbling onto this thread. fact is that i am going through a big spiritual/intellectual de-cluttering right now. on top of that certain things, like my office, have been screaming at me to get done. all the projects that i have going on my home improvement side of life...everything is a bit out of control. certainly having my physical life in order will relieve certain stresses and emotional blocks that might be hindering me from being at ease and in maximum spiritual growth mode. thanks for the thread!

Thanks for your post jacare, I completely agree with this.

Unfortunately clutter and messiness is one of my weaknesses and something I need to work on. On the occasions that I do sort my desk/room/bills out I always feel so much better - I just don't seem able to keep up with it.

This is something that I am going to work on as I really want to start getting the full potential out of my manifestations.

I'm in the same boat, True Believer; I just need to remember I can only take one step at a time, and it doesn't really matter what step I take . . .

Now that I'm reading this thread, I'm thinking I need to make "De-cluttering" part of my IM!

Wink

yesterday i answered the thread and went to clean up my closet.

i have several clothes i no longer use,and most of them i put to sell online.

now i arranged from those some others ones to give away.

my mother was always like that:she held tight to everything since she was young.and it costs her a lot to really think that she no longer needs something or will nevver need it.she always thinks that one moment we could need an object,so better to keep it....but in fact that is all clutter,if we dont use it!

times ago i tried to learn feng shui i researched in the internet to see good sites about it but i didnt found much..the ones i did we had to pay to receive lessons.

so i think that through that tecnique we can really reorganize all in the best way to permitt that the energy flows without impediments.

Default Good Book and Feng Shui observation

Here is a good book on the subject of clutter. I listened to the audio, and it is worth the time, in my opinion.

I've looked into Feng Shui, and obviously, having been developed over many centuries it has a lot of merit. For myself, I try to distill the high level practical points, which make a lot of sense. For example, clutter cleaning, don't have your desk with your back to the doorway, keep entryway's free and clear, avoid living on cul de sacs, etc. I think you can get the most important points on feng shui from a few web searches, and a book or two without taking a full class.

Default Clutter Control

Boy, are your right! Clutter has such a profound impact on our well-being. Whenever things aren't going quite right in my life, the first thing I do is to clean up clutter--it brings immediate results every time.

Read more about clutter control.

I've heard this advice before. I agree that it is of paramount importance to get rid of emotional clutter. And while I think it's a good idea to clean up your physical space as well before manifesting, I've been able to create some nice things even when my place is messy. However, I do agree that manifestations probably do happen faster when both your mind and surroundings are clear.

Interestingly, I started taking out a pile of crap this morning....
emptying garbages, downsizing my piles of stuff...
Now I open this thread this morning...!!!
it is a big hint that I am heading in the right direction!
More importantly, I must work on the emotional clutter as well....

I went to talk about this and the speaker siad you shoould never tidy any one else clutter - but that once they see you clear yours they will clear theirs.

odd ly enough this week i cleared out 90% of my intray and on thursday I secured a big contract and went networking and got 3 enquiries plus one referral. business has been slow up til now. so i think it really works

dont you feel youve been let in on a secret the world is ignoring?

I firmly believe in having no (or little) clutter around to get the energy flowing. When i clear stuff i just ask myself if that thing has any use for me. That also include gifts I'm afraid, a non-useful gift (such as a decoration item or such, unless the person really knows me/my tastes well) i often put in a box and off to charity it goes. Also clothing, mine, my husband's, the children's...as soon as it has no use anymore, off to charity.

And all seems to flow pretty well in my life.
