Default Dreams can come true - what can we learn from the Oscars?

I watched the Oscars last night and got to thinking. Does anyone know of any successful actors who use intention/manifestation?

It was watching Oprah's speech about Gabourey Sidibe that made me think of this. Obviously, Oprah uses it, but what about other successful actors, directors and producers?

On a different note, something she said about Gabourey also made me think. Apparently she skipped school to go to an audition one Monday. By Tuesday she had a call-back and by Wednesday, she had the part.

That reminded me how visualisation isn't enough. You have to act when you start getting the opportunities.

Does anyone else sometimes find resistance to the 'action' part?

you can add Jim Carrey and Will Smith to that list. Oprah also believed that LOA got her a role in the movie The Color Purple

I was thinking the same thing, i was amazed.

Just think, she was a college student, and then a year later she is now on the same stage as Meryl Streep

Yes. It's amazing. So inspiring.

It's funny that you mention Oprah and the Color Purple, Laurenaus, because I just found a clip where she is talking about that to Larry King yesterday! Nice synchronicity

Very interesting that Jim Carrey and Will Smith follow this. Both have changed the direction of their careers dramatically and successfully since they started out.

I watched Jim Carrey's 'Yes Man' recently and found the message inspiring. I wonder if he was involved with its development if he is interested in IM. The message is basically 'say yes to the universe', in a light-hearted way. I loved it.

I came across a site a while ago called "The Good Vibes Blog". They cited Schwarzenegger as someone who'd used LOA and had a story about him when he was starting out. I don't think he's got any Oscars to his name but he's well worth a mention.

Thanks, great example. I've just found a link to the article. Very interesting. How Arnie Rolls: Schwarzenegger as Creator - Good Vibe Blog
