Default So what have you ordered?

Actually Steve post has come at a perfect time, the otherday I was about to post in here a thread, stating that those the truely believe in IM, to state what they have asked for and report back in a years time. But Steve put it so much better, by stating that you order what you want How to Order (Blog)

So I have ordered for an appetiser a:
3 hour x teaching gig in a months time at my uni, teaching Photoshop, illustrator and Indesign @ $100 an hour on a Thursday morning for one year. It wont add stress or conflict with my other work. It's going to be yummy I will report back in a months and a half's time.

Please tell me if I need to be more specific.

So what have you ordered?

I like the idea of this thread - so I'll quickly share a recent "order" of mine, and review the meal...

I have played piano all my life, and recently decided I wanted to "play more piano - and 'get back into music'" -- Me an my wife recently moved so she could work on her doctorate (in music), and as things unfolded, I landed a gig as an adjunct accompanist for the school of music.

As it turned out - this was a terrible gig. I was unable to choose what pieces I would be working on, and ended up with way too much hard music and not enough time to learn it all.

To make a long story short, I made it through a semester of this and promptly quit.

Problem #1: I wasn't specific enough with my requests, and I certainly didn't "think" the entire request through. Had I been more specific in my request, I might have realized this is not what I wanted.

However, do I regret it - Not at all! It was an interesting "meal", and I learned what I don't want. Now I can simply work on refining my requests, and continue to watch them manifest. Had I thought about it too much, I would have never learned what it is that I don't want. I think that's a very important part of deciding what you do want. I often tell my children, how do you know you don't like it if you haven't ever tried it?

And now to my next order: I have decided that I want to give teaching (piano) another go. I used to do this full time, but have since moved on to other things. However this time around I'm working on some different ideas such as online learning which will have a broader impact, and provide some passive income... I guess I still need to get way more specific though, and I"m working on that...

Hi there! Okay, haven't read the blog entry only because i know the concept already. But something hit me this morning that i would like to share. I realised that "impossible" is a human word, not a Source word. We're in the process of buying a new house and i realised how the universe has answered me with exactly, EXACTLY, what i have ordered.

Many times over the past few months (i'm pregnant so it seems my intentions are expanding synchronically with my bump) I have said over and over that our place is cute but it would be so useful to have a house that:

- Has at least three bedrooms
- Has a separate kitchen
- Has a separate laundry
- Is in this area
- Is under 400K
- Has two toilets
- Is in a peaceful natural setting
- Has a good size deck
- Has a wood heater
- ...

(those were pretty much the biggest points i insisted on, but I'll stop the list here not to bore you). Well, even though i thought it was a long shot to ask for all that, a house exactly like that came on the market, and we're getting it .

I kept getting signs that something was coming and it did. Manifestation is awesome.

On the 20th I ordered "overflowing abundance" (which Steve says is the wrong way to order, so I expect he'll be shooting his water pistol at me) and today, the 24th, I received a service contract that pays REALLY well and the service itself is something I'm really excited about -- lots of learning, opportunity, contacts, and people I like a lot. The whole shebang is definitely not something I expected, and it is not in a form I would have expected.

Sometimes it pays to just let the chef prepare something special and unique for you!

What that you ordered it on a specific date or that you ordered something "generic"?

Good on you Angela. That's pretty cool Congrats.

Mine seems to come not on the exact date, but around the rough time frame. Wonder why that is?

This idea that you'll only have your order fulfilled if you are specific. It's just not true -- not for me, anyway!

two days ago, i ordered "beautiful, clear, healthy skin."

my complexion is already amazingly clear compared to how it was when i put in my order. glowing almost. significant improvement, and it's continuing to improve.

Angela, that's a cool experience! glad you decided to TRUST (i realized later, the way you weren't even told to offer a question in your guide party thread, was a lovely exercise in trust!)

Good thread.

Sorry OT, but I'm curious: how specific must you be?

I request a life partner with brown hair...

or

I request a life partner with naturally brown and naturally wavy hair...

or

I request a life partner with naturally brown and naturally wavy hair that parts on the right and she can't wear a fringe...

Maybe a daft example, but an example nonetheless.

I guess my question is: from user experience, is being too specific a hindrance?

Well, first I ordered $50,000AU, tax exempt, to pay for the self-publishing of a childrens book I created a few years ago...ASAP *and may it come without any harm being done to anyone.

Then I ordered my dream fella The details are on Gracestars Luuuurve drought thread...ASAP

I also want my own converted, 2 storey warehouse space to live in here in Melbourne, which I own outright (somehow?) and which has views of the forest (out in Emerald or Sassafras), and everything functional, a fireplace and clawfoot bathtub, with big bay windows, two bedrooms and an artspace, and lots of garden space for permaculture garden and a duck pond, with no mortgage.
A castle in Scotland to go to when I want to write.
An apartment in Xxlendi,Malta to chill out and swim and relax on holidays, that has a rooftop space and everything functional, 2 bedrooms and is 2 storey with a spiral staircase.
And a secret home, made of wood in the rainforest up north in the Daintree, not far from the beach....ASAP

I ordered a carmen Ghia convertable car a few years ago. It started off black and then became silver, then red, then white...and now, I don't know what colour I want...so I need to get clearer on that one
Oh dammit, Black looks pretty good, and it matches my doona cover(;

And a short while later he deleted his post

Methinks he would benefit from reading steve's recent blog on how to order.

Hence the dichotomy[?]

Isn't there supposed to be beauty in randomness?

I guess the best we can do is be as specific as to what we THINK we want, but still remain open to non-specificity?

Yes, specific is good. And I agree with granted as well. It's fun just to leave it up to the universe and trust that you will get what you need most, maybe more than what you think you want Some of the most magickal manifestations have come to me when I surrendered and said to the universe " send me what you think I need most right now...I'll leave the details up to you, as you have my best interests at heart". It's also a great exercise in trusting the universe.

I ordered $50k exempt from tax deductions and free from negative means of acquirement as defined by my personal sense of morality.

I ordered creative artistry skills and the passion to enjoy them to the fullest every day. So far I've gotten a few bites in

I also ordered a very fast boat. I may want to rephrase that order before I go swimming anytime soon

I've ordered a creative writer's gig, in which I excel and nothing else but excel.
Oh yeah but before that, I've ordered that all of the gig should appeal me. Yum! So it's an appealing creative writer's gig

Nice thread

I've ordered:

Healing of certain negative personality traits/ fears I've recently uncovered (usually uncovering them and having the intention to heal them and a bit of patience is enough)

More clarity on my path and purpose

More harmony in my path of earning money & helping people - such that I am ready to accept the responsibility that comes with power and mature enough to flow towards my goal of financial harmony in a healthy, positive and yes HARMONIOUS way -- never feeling like I need to force or manipulate my way to abundance & freedom in any way

I want happiness and fulfilment in my relationship with my beautiful girl I want to grow more and more in love with her every day. I want us to grow to live harmoniously with each other and understand each other's needs and desires, and especially for our telepathy to grow hugely. Quite a while ago I made the order to learn telepathy and to converse telepathically, and I see the next stage is to grow in our mental connection together. I love her

The experience of ever increasing health and vitality and fitness

More indigos & crystals in my life and more joyful social interactions in general. In particular, I want to start sharing song, dance and spontaneous music - I plan to arrange large "spiritual" parties which will attract a lot of people with similar vibrations

Stronger energetic immune system which'll keep me happy and emotionally fine in any setting, particularly my parents' house

The expansion into a greater freedom and abundance in the financial realm, including the harmony I mentioned above

An evolution in my way of blogging, allowing me to reach more readers and touch more lives, with better quality posts, more authenticity and more inspiration and authentic value generation, and more network creation among like-vibration people

More connection with the people NEAR me (to compliment my connections over the net) I can serve and a solution to my transport issue

Some serious spiritual evolution... I feel it's the time to make a jump to a new level.

LOTS OF LOVE, INNER PEACE, WELLBEING AND JOY for no other reason than BECAUSE I AM
